Abstract

Pada era milenial ini, berinovasi merupakan cara menghadapi persaingan industri khususnya pada bidang makanan salad. Salah satu terobosan yang dapat dilakukan adalah merancang aplikasi toko online virgin salad. Aplikasi ini bertujuan agar dapat mempermudah akses pelanggan untuk mendapatkan makanan berupa salad yang masih segar di manapun lokasi kita berada. Metode yang digunakan untuk melakukan perancangan mulai dengan melakukan observasi terhadap situasi toko salad yang telah ada. Kemudian dalam perancangan dimulai dengan membuat aplikasi mobile menggunakan sistem operasi Android. Sistem Android merupakan sistem yang dominan dipakai masyarakat pada ponsel pintar yang dimilikinya. Penggunaan sistem ini juga akan mempermudah pengintegrasian dengan database yang akan digunakan untuk penyimpanan data dari pesanan pembeli ke penjual serta menjadi dasar analisis penjual ke depannya dalam mengembangkan kegiatan usahanya. Pembuatan aplikasi ini dapat mempermudah serta meningkatkan pembeli salad yang dapat berdampak pada peningkatan penjualan serta peningkatan kemampuan bersaing dengan industri makanan lainnya. Hasil yang telah didapatkan dari penelitian ini merupakan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat melakukan pemesanan salad yang kemudian pesanan tersebut terdata pada basis data sehingga dapat dilakukan pemrosesan pemesanan oleh penjual salad. Aplikasi yang telah dibuat juga memiliki tingkat pemakaian memori sekitar 117 Megabyte sehingga sangatlah cocok digunakan pada kebanyakan ponsel pintar yang ada saat ini. Selain itu, penggunaan Unit Pemrosesan Sentral dalam menjalankan aplikasi ini stabil di bawah 1 persen sehingga ponsel pintar yang dipakai tidak membutuhkan kinerja yang berat dalam menjalankan aplikasi. / In this millennial era, innovation is a way to face industry competition, especially in the salad food sector. One of the breakthroughs that can be done is to design a virgin salad online store application. This application aims to make it easier for customers to access food in the form of fresh salads wherever our location is. The method used to carry out the design starts with observing the situation of the existing salad shop. Then the design starts with creating a mobile application using the Android operating system. The Android system is the dominant system used by people on their smart phones. The use of this system will also facilitate integration with a database that will be used to store data from buyer orders to sellers as well as become the basis for seller analysis in the future in developing their business activities. Making this application can simplify and increase salad buyers which can have an impact on increasing sales and increasing the ability to compete with other food industries. The results that have been obtained from this research is an application that can order salads, which are then recorded in the database so that orders can be processed by the salad seller. The application that has been made also has a memory usage level of around 117 Megabytes so it is very suitable for use on most smart phones that exist today. In addition, the use of the Central Processing Unit in running this application is stable below 1 percent so that the smartphone used does not require heavy performance to run the application.
