Abstract

The importance of transportation in supporting a company's business makes car transportation a necessity so it attracts many buyers. Pancar Mobil is ashowroom that offers sales of new car products and second hand cars or usually often referred to as used cars. The problem faced by Pancar Mobil is that advertising cars for sale requires quite large advertising costs and fraud is also rife on behalf of Pancar Mobil's car products. Apart from advertising costs, Pancar Mobil is experiencing problems with the costs incurred for agent commissions. This research was conducted to design a website-based E-Commerce application for customers and owners of Pancar Mobil Medan so they can advertise new and used cars safely and without requiring large fees. The results of the research are the development of an E-Commerce application at the Pancar Mobil Medan. The application built can solve Pancar Mobil's problems in advertising new and used cars which require large costs because the application built costs less and can reach more customers. / Pentingnya transportasi dalam menunjang bisnis sebuah perusahaan membuat transportasi mobil menjadi kebutuhan sehingga menarik banyak pembeli. Pancar Mobil merupakan sebuah showroom yang menawarkan penjualan produk mobil baru dan mobil second atau biasanya sering dinamakan sebagai mobil bekas. Permasalahan yang dihadapi Pancar Mobil yaitu dalam mengiklankan mobil yang dijual memerlukan biaya iklan yang cukup besar serta juga marak terjadi penipuan yang mengatasnamakan produk mobil dari Pancar Mobil. Selain biaya iklan, Pancar Mobil mengalami kendala pada biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk komisi agen. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang sebuah aplikasi E-Commerce berbasis website untuk pelanggan serta pemilik Pancar Mobil Medan agar dapat mengiklankan mobil baru dan bekas yang aman dan tanpa memerlukan biaya yang besar. Hasil penelitian berupa dibangunnya sebuah aplikasi E-Commerce pada showroom Pancar Mobil Medan. Aplikasi yang dibangun dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan Pancar Mobil dalam mengiklankan mobil baru dan bekas yang memerlukan biaya yang besar dikarenakan melalui aplikasi yang dibangun biaya lebih murah serta dapat menjangkau lebih banyak pelanggan.
