Abstract

PeduliLindung is an application designed by the government to control the rate of spread, information, and track people affected by the COVID-19 virus. This application requires the user to access and run the system. In the PeduliLindung application, there are also many features that control the development of information and the spread of the COVID-19 virus. To assess an application requires a method, the method used by researchers is usability. The usability method is a scoring method with numbers 1-5, for odd numbers such as 1,3,5 the value is reduced by 1, while even numbers are 2,4,6 minus 5 from the respondent's score. This study also involves the characteristics of different respondents. These respondents were classified by gender, age, and educational status. Then these respondents were also reclassified into two groups: students and citizens. The results obtained: students and citizens both get a Marginal High Grade. For application improvement recommendations, it is more towards an explanation related to features, and QR Code scan system bug fix. / PeduliLindungi merupakan aplikasi yang dirancang oleh pemerintah untuk mengkontrol laju penyebaran, informasi, melacak masyarakat yang terjangkit virus COVID-19. Aplikasi ini memerlukan pengguna untuk mengakses dan menjalankan sistem tersebut. Dalam aplikasi PeduliLindungi juga banyak fitur-fitur yang dalam mengkontrol perkembangan informasi dan penyebaran terkait virus COVID-19. Untuk menilai suatu aplikasi memerlukan sebuah metode, metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu usability. Metode usability merupakan sebuah metode skoring dengan angka 1-5, untuk angka ganjil seperti 1,3,5 nilainya dikurangi 1 sedangkan genap yaitu 2,4,6 dikurangi 5 dari nilai responden. Penelitian ini juga melibatkan karakteristik responden yang berbeda-beda. Responden ini diklasifikasikan berdasarkan jenis kelamin, usia, dan status pendidikan. Lalu responden ini juga diklasifikasikan kembali menjadi dua kelompok yaitu: mahasiswa dan lingkungan biasa. Hasil yang didapat yaitu mahasiswa dan lingkungan biasa keduanya mendapatkan grade Marginal High. Adapun rekomendasi untuk perbaikan aplikasi adalah penjelasan mengenai fitur-fitur dan perbaikan bug sistem scan QR Code.
