Abstract

Currently, the purchase of goods is done through online channels or electronic marketplaces. Not only goods or products, the online shopping process also spreads to various fields, both in the culinary field, education and even in the service sector. The service sector that is quite in demand by the public is related to renovation services or often known as a handyman. However, in this field, the process has not been maximized using information technology so that it is still conventionally based and less effective. From these problems, in this study a website for searching and ordering renovation services was developed in order to provide efficiency in the business process of ordering handyman services. In the system development process, the system development methodology used is the Waterfall methodology. This website was developed using PHP programming language with Laravel 5.4 framework and MySQL database. The test results for customer respondents get a percentage of 74.8% and renovation service providers of 85.33, which means that respondents agree that the system built is able to accommodate the business process of searching and ordering renovation services between customers and renovation service providers properly with the following features: available. / Saat ini, pembelian barang dilakukan melalui saluran online atau pasar elektronik. Tidak hanya barang ataupun produk saja, proses belanja online juga merambat hingga di berbagai bidang baik di bidang kuliner, pendidikan bahkan hingga di bidang jasa. Bidang jasa yang cukup diminati oleh masyarakat adalah berkaitan dengan jasa renovasi atau sering kenal dengan sebutan tukang. Namun pada bidang ini masih belum dimaksimalkan prosesnya menggunakan teknologi informasi sehingga masih berbasis konvensional dan kurang efektif. Dari permasalahan tersebut, maka pada penelitian ini dikembangkan sebuah website pencarian dan pemesanan jasa renovasi agar dapat memberikan efisiensi dalam proses bisnis pemesanan jasa tukang. Dalam proses pengembangan sistem metodologi pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metodologi Waterfall. Website ini dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework Laravel 5.4 serta database MySQL. Hasil pengujian kepada responden pelanggan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 74,8% dan penyedia jasa renovasi sebesar 85,33 yang artinya responden setuju bahwa sistem yang dibangun mampu mengakomodasi proses bisnis pencarian dan pemesanan jasa renovasi antara pelanggan dengan penyedia jasa renovasi secara baik dengan fitur-fitur yang tersedia.
