Abstract

Indo premier merupakan perusahan penyedia jasa keuangan yang melakukan digitalisasi dengan mengembangkan aplikasi investasi saham bernama “IPOT”. Dalam proses registrasi aplikasi, banyak data pribadi yang akan diungkapkan sehingga diperlukan kesediaan pengguna dalam mengungkapkan informasi pribadi untuk mendukung proses registrasi berjalan dengan baik. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah penambahan kebijakan privasi yang mudah untuk dibaca untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebijakan privasi, keterbacaan, dan jenis kelamin dalam kesediaan pengguna mengungkapkan informasi pribadi. Eksperimen dilakukan menggunakan metode experimental design 2x2 faktorial terhadap 185 pengguna dengan uji prototype menggunakan Figma. Terdapat beberapa temuan dalam tugas akhir ini. Pertama, kehadiran kebijakan privasi pada proses registrasi aplikasi saham memiliki dampak positif yang kuat terdahap kesediaan dalam mengungkapkan informasi pribadi. Kedua, kebijakan privasi yang mudah untuk dibaca memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap kesediaan dalam mengungkapkan informasi pribadi Dalam kondisi kebijakan privasi rendah. Ketiga, efek keterbacaan pada kesediaan untuk mengungkapkan informasi pribadi lebih signifikan pada wanita dibandingkan pria. Keempat, Ada hubungan positif antara kepercayaan dan kesediaan seseorang dalam mengungkapkan informasi pribadi. Sehingga dari hasil tugas akhir ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya kebijakan privasi dalam proses registrasi aplikasi saham “IPOT” dapat mempengaruhi tingkat kesediaan pengguna dalam mengungkapkan informasi pribadi. Tugas akhir ini berkontribusi pada literatur yang sudah ada yang menerapkan teori cue utilization. Sementara itu, tugas akhir ini dapat memberikan wawasan pada perusahan Indo premier akan pentingnya kebijakan privasi pada proses registrasi aplikasi “ÍPOT”./Indo premier is a financial service provider company that digitizes by developing a stock investment application called "IPOT". A lot of personal data will be disclosed during the registration process of the application, so the user's willingness to disclose personal information is required to support the registration process to run smoothly. The final project’s objective is to determine the effect of privacy policy, readability, and gender on users' willingness to disclose personal information by adding an easy-to-read privacy policy. Experiments were carried out using the 2x2 factorial experimental design method on 185 users with a prototype test using Figma. There are several findings in this final project. First, the presence of a privacy policy in the application registration process has a strong positive impact on willingness to disclose personal information. Second, easy-to-read privacy policy has a significant positive impact on willingness to disclose personal information in low privacy policy conditions. Third, the effect of readability on willingness to disclose personal information is more significant for women than for men. Fourth, there is a positive relationship between trust and a person's willingness to disclose personal information. Thus, the existence of a privacy policy in the registration process for "IPOT" stock application can affect the level of user willingness to disclose personal information. This final project contributes to the existing literature that applies cue utilization theory. Meanwhile, this final project can provide Indo premier companies with insight into the importance of privacy policies in “IPOT” application registration process.
