Abstract

Latar belakang:Pandemi COVID-19 merupakan pandemi yang disebabkan oleh virus COVID-19 yang mempunyai tingkat penularan sangat tinggi sehingga mengharuskan tenaga kerja kesehatan memakai APD. Penelitian Jiang dkk di provinsi Wuhan China, angka prevelansi kejadian kelainan kulit pada penggunaan APD pada tenaga medis yang kurang dari 4 jam adalah 17% sedangkan prevelansi kejadian kelainan kulit pada penggunaan APD lebih dari 4 jam adalah 47,3%. Walaupun demikian, terjadinya kelainan kulit akibat penggunaan APD dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang berbeda dengan kondisi di Indonesia sehingga membuat peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti dengan kondisi penggunaan APD di atas 7 jam & di bawah 7 jam. Tujuan:Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan lama penggunaan APD dengan kejadian kelainan kulit pada tenaga yang kontak dengan COVID-19 di rumah sakit Siloam Kelapa Dua Karawaci Tangerang.Metode:Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik studi cross-sectional potong lintang analitik komparatif kategorik tidak berpasangan.Target sampel yang digunakan yaitu tenaga kerja yang kontak dengan COVID-19 di rumah sakit Siloam Kelapa Dua yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Total sampel yang melalui consecutive sampling adalah 94. Kuesioner menggunakan Nordi Occupational Skin Kuesioner dan kriteria matias. Data akan dianalisis menggunakan Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) 25.0 dengan metode Chi-Square test.Hasil penelitian:Terdapat 94 responden telah mengisi kusioner ini dengan response rate 100%. Hasil dari Durasi penggunaan APD dan kejadian kelainan kulit adalah < 7 jam adalah 40(43%) dimana positif adalah 7(17.5) & negatif adalah 33(82.5%) dan penggunaan ≥ 7 jam adalah 54(57%) dimana positif adalah 9(16.7%) & negatif adalah 45(83.3%).Konklusi:Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara lama penggunaan APD dengan kejadian kelainan kulit pada tenaga yang kontak dengan COVID-19 di Rumah Sakit Siloam Karawaci Tangerang/Background:The COVID-19 pandemic is an ongoing pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus that has a very high transmission rate which cause to the need of PPE for health workers.The use of PPE cause a new problem where prolonged use of PPE cause skin disorder. A study conducted by Jiang et al in Wuhan province, China shows that the prevalence of skin disorder cause by wearing PPE in medical worker less than 4 hours is 17%, while wearing the PPE for more than 4 hours is 47.3%]. Skin disorder cause by PPE is influence by other factor which may be different in Indonesia. Those differences picked the interest of reseracher to study the relation between the use of PPE for more than 7 hour and less than 7 hour. Aim:The purpose of this study is to see the relationship between the duration of the use of Personal ProtectiveEquipment (PPE) with the incidence of skin disorders in COVID-19 Health Workers at Siloam hospital Kelapa dua Karawaci Tangerang, Banten. Method:The method for this study is by using a cross-sectional study design with an unpaired categorical comparative technique to measure the relationship. The target sample for this study is the COVID- 19 health worker at the Siloam Kelapa Dua hospital who met the inclusion criteria. The total sample obtained by consecutive sampling was 94. The questionnaire for this study is the Nordic Occupational Skin disease and Mathias Criteria. The data will be analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) 25.0 with the Chi-Square test math. Result:Result of this study show that the response rate for this study is 100% with a total number of 94 response that been collected. The result show between duration of ppe and skin disorder is < 7 hour with the value of 40(43%) which show skin disorder is 7(17.5) & does not is 33(82.5%) while use of PPE ≥ 7 hour is 54(57%) with the result of skin disorder is 9(16.7%) while doesn't show result is 45(83.3%). Conclusion:There was no any significant relationship between duration of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with the incidence of skin disorders in COVID-19 Health Workers at Siloam Hospital Kelapa Dua Karawaci Tangerang
