Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between students’ learning motivation, engagement and technology acceptance with experience of using augmented reality of student in open and distance higher education. The separation of space and time between students and teachers in open and distance education has led to provide media as learning materials that can help student. The definition of distance education as formal education creates virtual classrooms that provide opportunities for students to have equal opportunities and learning outcomes. One of the study programs courses require students to practice fulfilling their learning competencies. Augmented Reality (AR) is a combination of the real world and virtual which integrated learning media in online tutorials, which has potential creates an immersive learning environment. This aims of this research is to investigate the correlation between AR media and students' learning motivation, engagement and acceptance, also the influence of the independent variables on the experience of using AR. The research method used a quantitative method using a Likert scale questionnaire and analysed data by multiple regression tests. The result of the analysis show that there is a correlation between the variables and the three independent variables influencing the dependent variable. / Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel motivasi belajar, keterlibatan dan penerimaan teknologi dengan variabel pengalaman menggunakan augmented reality pada mahasiswa Pendidikan tinggi terbuka dan jarak jauh. Keterpisahan ruang dan waktu diantara peserta didik dan pengajar pada Pendidikan tinggi terbuka dan jarak jauh, memunculkan inisiatif untuk menyediakan media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu belajar mahasiswa. Definisi pendidikan jarak jauh sebagai pendidikan berbasis institusional dan formal menciptakan kelas virtual yang memberi kesempatan pada peserta didik untuk memperoleh kesempatan dan hasil belajar yang setara. Pada salah satu program studi pada Pendidikan tinggi terbuka dan jarak jauh terdapat mata kuliah yang mensyaratkan mahasiwa berpraktik untuk memenuhi kompetensi pembelajarannya. Augmented reality merupakan kombinasi dunia nyata dengan virtual yang memiliki peluang sebagai media pembelajaran terintegrasi pada kelas tutorial online. Potensi AR dengan kemampuan multimedia menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran imersif. Penelitian bertujuan menyelidiki korelasi antara media AR dengan motivasi, keterlibatan dan persepsi mahasiswa dan pengaruh ketiga variabel terhadap pengalaman menggunakan augmented reality. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif menggunakan kuisioner berskala Likert, data dianalisis dengan uji regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat korelasi antara variabel dan ketiga variabel bebas mempengaruhi variabel terikat.
