Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketidakdisiplinan siswa pada saat berlangsungnya proses pembelajaran sedangkan disiplin belajar sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Disiplin belajar menjadi salah satu fondasi kelas dapat berlangsung dengan efektif serta tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran yang telah dirancang. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi masalah ditemukan siswa sering kali tidak melakukan prosedur kelas walaupun sudah diingatkan berulang-ulang, sibuk mengobrol dengan teman, berjalan-jalan di dalam kelas dan beberapa siswa ditemukan sering berteriak saat proses pembelajaran. Akibatnya kelas menjadi kurang kondusif untuk belajar, materi tidak tersampaikan dengan maksimal, dan waktu pembelajaran habis untuk menegur siswa. Maka dari itu, diperlukan upaya untuk mengelola kelas agar proses pembelajaran dapat berlangsung lebih kondusif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan prosedur kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa melalui langkah-langkah penerapan prosedur yang diajarkan. Pada penelitian ini peneliti melakukan beberapa modifikasi akan penggunaan prosedur kelas yang ada di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Pelton yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga kali penerapan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III Sekolah Lentera Harapan Koja yang terdiri dari 28 siswa. Sumber data yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah RPP, lembar observasi checklist, lembar angket, umpan balik mentor, dan refleksi mengajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan terhadap disiplin belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya prosedur kelas. Prosedur kelas diterapkan dengan tiga langkah yaitu menjelaskan semua prosedur, mempraktikkan prosedur yang telah dijelaskan, memberikan umpan balik berupa penguatan terhadap perilaku positif dengan memberikan pujian secara konsisten. / The backround of this research is the indiscipline of the students during the learning process, Meanwhile, the learning discipline is very important in the learning process. Learning discipline becomes one of the foundations that makes a class can go effectively and achieve the learning objectives that have been designed. Based on the results of the problem identification, it was found that students often did not follow the procedures, even though they had been reminded over and over again. They were busy chatting with their friends, walk around in the classroom, and even some students were found shouting often during the learning process. As the results, the class became not conducive to lear, the material was not delivered optimally, and the time runned out mostly for reminding the students. Therefore, efforts are needed to manage the class so that the learning process can be more conducive. This research was conducted by applying classroom procedures aimed at improving students’ learning discipline by making several modifications for the use of the classroom procedures. This study uses the Pelton’s model Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was implemented three times. The research subjects were class III students at Lentera Harapan Koja School consists of 28 students. The data sources used for this study were RPP, checklist, questionnaire sheet, mentor feedback, and teaching reflection. The results of the study indicate an increase in students’ learning discipline after the classroom procedures are applied. Classroom procedures are applied in three steps, which are explaining all procedures, practicing the procedures described, and providing feedback in the form of strengthening positive behavior by giving praise consistently.
