Abstract

Fine Motor Skills in early childhood at XYZ Education Center have not yet developed. This was obtained from observations during the learning process. This study aims to analyze the application of mosaic and paper folding activities to develop fine motor skills in children aged 4 to 5 years at XYZ Education Center. The research method used is Classroom Action Research consisting of three cycles by carrying out the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection in each cycle. The research subjects were 6 learners with different meeting schedules from one another. The research instrument used to obtain data was an assessment rubric for fine motor skills. Data collection uses data obtained from the assessment of the rubric and also the observation sheet of each activity. The results showed that there was an increase in fine motor skills in children aged 4 to 5 years at XYZ Education Center. The average value of fine motor skills in cycle I was 47.0, in cycle II was 61.0, and in cycle III was 81.0. From these results it can be concluded that the application of mosaic and paper folding activities can develop fine motor skills in children aged 4 to 5 years at XYZ Education Center Tangerang. / Keterampilan Motorik Halus pada anak usia dini di XYZ Education Center belum berkembang. Hal ini diperoleh dari observasi selama terjadi proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan kegiatan mozaik dan melipat kertas untuk mengembangkan keterampilan motorik halus pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di XYZ Education Center. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari tiga siklus dengan melakukan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi pada masing-masing siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 6 peserta didik dengan jadwal pertemuan yang berbeda satu dengan yang lain. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah rubrik penilaian untuk keterampilan motorik halus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan data yang diperoleh dari penilaian akan rubrik dan juga lembar observasi dari setiap kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan keterampilan motorik halus pada anak usia 4 hingga 5 tahun di XYZ Education Center. Nilai rata-rata keterampilan motorik halus pada siklus I 47,0, pada siklus II 61,0, dan pada siklus III adalah 81,0. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan kegiatan mozaik dan melipat kertas dapat mengembangkan keterampilan motorik halus pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di XYZ Education Center Tangerang.
