Abstract

Disiplin merupakan hal yang sangat mendasar dalam proses pembelajaran. Apabila murid disiplin maka proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik dan kondusif. Keadaan murid kelas I A SD Negeri di Sentani adalah tidak disiplin, tidak mengikuti prosedur kelas/aturan, instruksi guru dan tidak memperhatikan ketika guru menjelaskan. Pemberian penghargaan secara verbal maupun non verbal dan konsekuensi dalam bentuk teguran, pemindahan tempat duduk, dan menahan murid sampai 10 menit setelah selesai pembelajaran dapat memungkinkan untuk meningkatkan disiplin murid sehingga peneliti dan guru mentor ingin meningkatkan disiplin dengan mengambil keputusan untuk menerapkan solusi penerapan penghargaaan dan konsekuensi untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan murid kelas I A. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Pelton yang dilakukan dalam dua kali tindakan. PTK Pelton terdiri dari lima langkah yaitu identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan dan hasil penilaian. Subyek penelitian adalah murid kelas I A berjumlah 24 murid yang terdiri dari 12 murid perempuan dan 12 murid laki-laki. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari 4 Oktober 2018 sampai 11 Oktober 2018. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi mentor, umpan balik mentor, RPP dan jurnal refleksi. Tujuan penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan penghargaan dan konsekuensi dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan murid kelas I A dan mengetahui penerapan penghargaan dan konsekuensi dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan murid kelas I A. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan penghargaan dan konsekuensi dapat meningkatkan disiplin murid kelas I A SD Negeri di Sentani Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan penghargaan dan konsekuensi dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan murid kelas I A SD Negeri di Sentani dengan melakukan semua langkah-langkah penerapan yang terlihat dari lembar ceklis mentor. Indikator I,II dan IV adalah 100% dengan melakukan perbaikan melalui kekonsistenan peneliti dalam menerapkan indikator III pada penerapan 2 dari 0% menjadi 100%./ Discipline is a very basic thing in the learning process. If students are disciplined, the learning process can be well and conductive. The condition of student grade 1 at SD Negeri in Sentani is undisciplined, not following class/rule procedures, teacher instructions and not paying attention when the teacher explains. Giving rewards verbal and nonverbal and consequences in the form of reprimand, moving seats, and holding students up to 10 minutes after finishing learning can make it possible to improve student discipline so that researchers and mentor teachers want to improve discipline by making decisions to implement solutions to the application of reward and consequences to improve student discipline. The research method used is Pelton’s action. Action research (CAR), conducted in two actions. Pelton PTK consists of five steps, namely issue identification, data collection, action planing, plan activation and outcome assesment. The subjects of the study were student of grade 1 A, consisting of 24 students of 12 female students and 12 male students. The study was conducted from october 4th, 2018 to october 11th, 2018. The research tools was in the mentor observation form, feedback mentor, lesson plan and journal reflection. The aim of the study was to investigate whether the application of rewards anf consequences can improve the discipline of the student grade 1 A and knowing the application of rewards and consequences can increase discipline among the students of grade 1 A. The result of the study show that application rewards and consequences can improve the discipline of student grade 1 A at SD Negeri in Sentani. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the application of rewards and consequences can increase the discipline of students grade 1 A in Sentani by performing all implementation steps that are displayed in the mentor checklist. Indicators I, II and IV are 100% and well implemented by making improvements through the consistency of researchers in applying indicator III to the application 2 of 0% to 100%.
