Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui pengaruh kinerja keuangan dan kebijakan hutang terhadap nilai perusahaan. Populasi penelitian ini ialah perusahaan manufaktur dengan sektor consumer goods yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2017–2020. Pemilihan sampel ditetapkan melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan diperoleh 53 perusahaan dikalikan 4 tahun penelitian dengan total sebanyak 212 data. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder berupa data laporan tahunan perusahaan yang berasal dari website S&P Capital IQ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kinerja keuangan dan kebijakan hutang memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap nilai perusahaan. Penelitian ini mengimplikasikan bahwa calon investor perlu mencermati dan menelaah beberapa faktor penting sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam melakukan penilaian mengenai kondisi suatu perusahaan, yaitu kualitas kinerja keuangan untuk mengetahui prospek perusahaan di masa mendatang dan kebijakan hutang yang diterapkan perusahaan agar dapat menetapkan keputusan investasi yang tepat guna memperoleh keuntungan secara maksimal. / This study aims to determine the effect of financial performance and debt policy on firm value. The population of this study is manufacturing companies with the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017–2020 period. The selection of the sample was determined through a purposive sampling technique which obtained 53 companies multiplied by 4 years of research with a total of 212 data. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. This research is of a quantitative type using secondary data in the form of company annual report data originating from the S&P Capital IQ website. The results show that financial performance and debt policy have a significant positive effect on firm value. This research implies that potential investors need to pay close attention and examine several important factors as material for consideration in assessing the condition of a company, namely the quality of financial performance to determine the company's prospects in the future and the debt policy applied by the company to make the right investment decisions to obtain maximum profit.
