Abstract

Kebijakan Dividen merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam keputusan pendanaan untuk menentukan berapa banyak bagian keuntungan yang akan dibagikan kepada pemegang saham. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh free cash flow, leverage dan growth opportunity terhadap kebijakan dividen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan industri manufaktur sektor barang konsumen primer yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dari periode 2017 sampai dengan 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekaan kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dimana pemilihan sampel sesuai dengan kriteria. Data penelitian menggunakan data sekunder dengan total sampel sebanyak yang diperoleh dari database Standard & Poors (S&P) periode 2017-2021. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda menggunakan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel independen free cash flow (FCF) dan growth opportunities (GROWTH) tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen namun leverage (DAR) berpengaruh negatif terhadap kebijakan dividen, Adapun 4 variabel kontrol lainnya berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan dividen. / Dividend policy is an important component in financing decisions to determine how much profit will be distributed to shareholders. This study aims to examine the effect of free cash flow, leverage and growth opportunity on dividend policy. The population in this study are manufacturing industrial companies in the primary consumer goods sector which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2021. This research is a research with a quantitative approach and uses a purposive sampling method, where the sample selection is according to the criteria. The research data uses secondary data with as many samples as obtained from the Standard & Poor's (S&P) database for the 2017-2021 period. Data analysis technique using multiple linear regression using SPSS software. The results showed that the independent variables free cash flow (FCF) and growth opportunity (GROWTH) had no effect on dividend policy but leverage (DAR) had a negative effect on dividend policy, while the other 4 control variables had an effect on dividend policy.
