Abstract

Masalah pencernaan konstipasi pada bayi yang baru menerima MPASI menjadi salah satu kendala yang sering diresahkan oleh banyak orang tua. Konstipasi pada bayi dapat datasi dengan pemberian yogurt yang diformulasikan menjadi sediaan melts yang mudah dikonsumsi bayi Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan sediann yogurt melts ialah metode freeze dry. Sediaan yogurt melts juga dilakukan uji in vivo pada mencit jantan (Mus musculus) untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas terhadap konstipasi. Yogurt ditambahkan empat jenis eksipien berbeda yaitu inulin, trehalose, casein, dan whey. Beberapa aspek menunjukan hasil bahwa trehalose menjadi bahan tambahan yang paling baik dalam sediaan yogurt melts. Pada uji in vivo, mencit yang telah diinduksi konstipasi dengan pemberian loperamide secara oral didapatkan hasil bawa sediaan yogurt melts dengan tambahan trehalose dapat membantu memperlancar pencernaan. Data yang sudah di uji kelayakkannya dilajutkan dengan uji One Way ANOVA, dan didapatkan nilai signifikansi >0,05 yang menujukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikkan antar kelompok formulasi inulin, trehalose, whey, dan casein. /Constipation digestive problems in babies who have just received weaning foods are one of the obstacles that many parents often worry about. Constipation in infants can be relieved by giving yogurt which is formulated into melts that are easy for babies to consume. The method used in making yogurt melts is the freeze dry method. Yogurt melts preparations were also tested in vivo on male mice (Mus musculus) to determine their effectiveness against constipation. Yogurt is added with four different excipients, namely inulin, trehalose, casein, and whey. Several aspects show that trehalose is the best additive. In the in vivo test, the mice that had been induced by constipation by administering loperamide orally found that the yogurt melts preparation with the addition of trehalose could help facilitate digestion. The data that had been tested for feasibility was continued with the One Way ANOVA test, and a significance value of >0.05 was obtained, which indicated that there was no significant difference between the inulin, trehalose, whey, and casein formulation groups.
