Abstract
In recent years, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the working system, with hybrid work systems becoming increasingly common. As people spend more time at home, they are seeking companionship and comfort, leading to a surge in the demand for pets. Small to medium sized dogs, in particular, have become highly sought after, as many individuals consider them to be an integral part of their family. As a result, there has been a rapid growth in demand for furniture that caters to both home workspaces and pets. Research has also found that dogs have some significant positive impacts on humans, providing stress relief, increasing productivity, and more. In today's busy world, many pet owners struggle with balancing their work or study responsibilities and ensuring that their pets receive the love and attention they need. Neglecting pets can lead to anxiety and other behavioral problems, which can negatively impact the human-animal bond. Given the importance of pets to their owners, there is a growing need for furniture that allows adequate interaction between dogs and humans in-home workspaces.
