Abstract

Indonesia memiliki berbagai keberagaman pada suku ras serta aliran agama, yang menimbulkan kesalahpahaman terhadap masing-masing kepercayaan. Salah satunya adalah agama islam, yang mana terdapat ajaran atau madzhab yang melarang pemeliharaan anjing dan adapun juga yang tidak melarangnya. Dengan ajaran tersebut, menimbulkan masyarakat muslim semakin memandang sebelah mata terhadap anjing, baik di dunia maya maupun di dunia nyata. Film dokumenter berjudul Amanah merupakan film yang bertujuan untuk mengubah stigma buruk terkait pemeliharaan anjing serta ingin menyampaikan pesan bahwa agama islam mengajari harus saling mengasihi antar sesama makhluk hidup. Dalam makalah ini, penulis hendak membahas perannya sebagai sutradara yang merancang seluruh konsep, perkembangan narasi serta pendekatan terhadap narasumber pada film. Setelah tahap tersebut, penulis beserta rekan melakukan produksi pada film untuk merealisasikan konsep yang sudah dirancang di tahap sebelumnya. Pada akhir makalah ini, penulis berharap dengan menggarap film ini bisa membuka pandangan baru bahwa anjing tidak boleh disakiti dengan mengatasnamakan agama. Selain itu, anjing berhak dibahagiakan setara dengan hewan lainnya. / Indonesia has a variety of ethnicities, races and religious beliefs, which causes misunderstandings about each belief. One of them is the religion of Islam, in which there are madzhab or schools of thought that prohibit keeping dogs and those that do not prohibit it. With these teachings, it causes the Muslims to misunderstandings about dogs, both in the social media and in the real world. The documentary film, Amanah is a film that aims to change the bad stigma about keeping dogs and wants to tell that Islam has taught us to love each other. In this paper, the author wants to discuss his role as a film director who designs all concepts, narrative developments and approaches to film sources. After this stage, the author and his colleagues produced the film to realize the concept that had been designed in the previous stage. At the end of this paper, the author hopes that by working on this film it can open up a new view that dogs should not be abused in the name of religion. Also, dogs deserve to be happy just like the other animals.
