Abstract

Kereta api merupakan sebuah moda transportasi darat yang menjadi salah satu pilihan paling efektif untuk mengangkut penumpang maupun benda dalam jarak yang jauh maupun dekat. Kereta api berjalan di atas rel yang sudah ditentukan jalurnya yang membuat mode transportasi ini menghindari macet dan perjalanannya yang dapat dibilang cukup singkat, selain itu posisi stasiun kereta api terletak di tengah perkotaan yang membuat akses menuju transportasi tersebut mudah. Pada zaman ini, pemerintah Indonesia memiliki banyak rencana pembangunan/ perkembangan perkeretaapian. Sekarang ada 23 proyek pembangunan jalur kereta api yang masuk ke dalam Proyek Strategis Nasional (PSN) dan dibuat menjadi Peraturan Presiden (PP) oleh Bapak Joko Widodo. Sarana transportasi merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat penting untuk Indonesia agar dapat bersaing dengan negara-negara lainnya di masa yang akan datang, oleh karena itu pembangunan dalam bidang perkeretaapian menjadi salah satu fokus Indonesia sekarang. Desain yang digunakan dalam perancangan adalah pengaplikasian konsep modern serta tradisional. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah untuk menerapkan desain modern suasana Jakarta yang dipadukan dengan desain tradisional yang memberikan suasana Yogyakarta kedalam kereta, selain itu desain dari perancangan akan fokus kepada ergonomi pada keseluruhan fasilitas agar dapat digunakan secara nyaman oleh penumpang dari seluruh kalangan umur serta memberikan fasilitas-fasilitas yang tidak pernah ditemui oleh pengguna untuk memberikan pengalaman baru kepada pengguna./ Trains are a mode of land transportation that is one of the most effective choices for transporting passengers and objects over long and short distances. Trains run on tracks that have been determined by the path that makes this mode of transportation avoid traffic jams and the journey is arguably quite short, besides that the position of the train station is located in the middle of the city which makes access to transportation easy. Nowadays, the Indonesian government has many railway development plans. There are now 23 railway construction projects that are included in the National Strategic Project (PSN) and made into a Presidential Regulation (PP) by Mr. Joko Widodo. Transportation facilities are one of the most important things for Indonesia to compete with other countries in the future, therefore development in the field of railways is one of Indonesia's focuses now. The design used in the design is the application of modern and traditional concepts. The purpose of this design is to apply a modern design of Jakarta's atmosphere combined with a traditional design that gives the atmosphere of Yogyakarta into the train, besides that the design of the design will focus on ergonomics in all facilities so that it can be used comfortably by passengers of all ages and provide facilities that have never been encountered by users to provide new experiences for users.
