Abstract

Hotel resort merupakan hotel yang dibangun di tempat-tempat wisata. Tujuan pembangunan hotel semacam ini tentunya adalah sebagai fasilitas akomodasi dari suatu aktivitas wisata. Hotel Resort yang memiliki desain yang menarik dan indah pasti akan lebih mengundang banyak pengunjung untuk menginap di resort tersebut. Belitung atau Belitong sebagai bahasa setempat yang diambil dari nama sejenis siput laut dahulunya dikenal sebagai Billiton yang merupakan sebuah pulau di pantai timur Sumatera, Indonesia. Provinsi Belitung merupakan tempat dimana semua orang bisa menikmati akan keindahan dan kecantikan dari banyaknya tempat wisata yang dimiliki di pulau Sumatera tersebut. Salah satu tempat wisata di Belitung yang cukup terkenal yaitu pantai. Dikarenakan resort eksisting belum pernah melakukan kegiatan renovasi sebelumnya, maka seluruh fasilitas dan juga suasana yang dimiliki pastinya sudah terlihat begitu tua dan bahkan mengalami kerusakan. Sehingga banyak pengunjung yang memberikan nilai rendah terhadap fasilitas resort tersebut. Maka dari itu, penulis akan menggunakan pencampuran konsep tradisional dengan konsep modern juga menggunakan konsep yang menyatu dengan alam. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah untuk mengaplikasikan trend tradisional modern khas Belitung ke dalam ruangan resort dengan perpaduan material yang bersifat tahan lama dan serupa dengan alam. Dengan konsep yang menyatu dengan alam, resort ini akan memberikan pencahayaan alami dari banyaknya fentilasi ke dalam ruangan agar pengunjung dapat melihat suasana diluar kamar. Desain yang dibuat juga terinspirasi dari bentuk rumah tradisional dari Bangka Belitung yaitu, Rumah Panggung yang terkenal dengan cara bagaimana rumah ini menampilkan seluruh material aslinya tanpa adanya cat tambahan atau finishing lain yang bisa mengubah warna dari material asli. Dengan konsep tradisional modern yang digunakan, penulis berharap bahwa resort ini bisa menjadikan salah satu sistem pendukung dalam bidang pariwisata dan perekonomian dari pulau Belitung ini. Penulis berharap bahwa resort ini bisa memberikan kesan sekaligus pengalaman yang tidak dapat terlupakan kepada para pengunjung yang berkunjung dan menikmati seluruh fasilitas resort maupun penghuni yang menginap. Dengan pencampuran konsep tersebut, menjadikan pengunjung tetap akan merasakan suasana tradisional khas Belitung yang sudah terlupakan akibat perkembangan jaman yang begitu cepat. / Resort hotels are hotels built in tourist spots. The purpose of building a hotel like this, of course, is as an accommodation facility for a tourism activity. Resort hotels that have an attractive and beautiful design will definitely invite more visitors to stay at the resort. Belitung or Belitong as the local language is taken from the name of a type of sea slug formerly known as Billiton which is an island on the east coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. Belitung Province is a place where everyone can enjoy the beauty and beauty of the many tourist attractions on the island of Sumatra. One of the tourist attractions in Belitung which is quite famous is the beach. Because the existing resort has never carried out renovation activities before, all the facilities and also the atmosphere that is owned must have looked so old and even damaged. So that many visitors give low value to the resort facilities. Therefore, the author will use a mixture of traditional concepts with modern concepts as well as using concepts that blend with nature. The purpose of this design is to apply the modern traditional trend of Belitung into the resort room with a combination of materials that are durable and similar to nature. With a concept that blends with nature, this resort will provide natural lighting from the many ventilation into the room so that visitors can see the atmosphere outside the room. The design was also inspired by the traditional house form of Bangka Belitung, namely the Stage House which is famous for the way this house displays all of its original materials without additional paint or other finishes that can change the color of the original material. With the modern traditional concept used, the authors hope that this resort can become a support system in the field of tourism and the economy of Belitung Island. The author hopes that this resort can give an impression as well as an unforgettable experience to the visitors who visit and enjoy all the resort facilities and the residents who stay overnight. By mixing these concepts, visitors will still feel the traditional atmosphere of Belitung which has been forgotten due to the fast development of the era.
