Abstract

Musik merupakan salah satu bentuk komunikasi antar individu, dan salah satu genre yang berhubungan dengan masyarakat adalah musik pop. Di Indonesia, musik pop diiringi dengan video musik yang merepresentasikan visualisasi dari lagu tersebut. Ada beberapa teknik untuk menghasilkan video musik, seperti dalam bentuk live-action atau animasi. Dalam proyek ini dipilih salah satu lagu top Indonesia 2022 Sang Dewi karya Lyodra Ginting dan Andi Rianto untuk kemudian divisualisasikan dengan konsep baru makna lagu dan implikasi budaya yang memperkenalkan budaya Indonesia. Proyek ini direncanakan dengan beberapa tahapan penelitian yang meliputi analisis lirik lagu, struktur lagu, dan cerita dalam lirik. Dan dengan penelitian tersebut disimpulkan memiliki kata kunci tersebut (surgawi dan mengharukan) untuk membantu mewujudkan proyek ini. Gaya seni yang digunakan dalam proyek ditentukan oleh audiens target. Hasil akhir dari perancangan ini adalah video klip animasi Sang Dewi dan tulisan ini akan berfokus pada desain karakter dan animasi yang merepresentasikan budaya Indonesia./ Music is one form of communication between individuals, and one of the genres that relate to people is pop music. In Indonesia, pop music is accompanied by a music video that represents the visualization of the song. There are multiple techniques to produce a music video, such as in the form of live-action or animation. In this project, one of Indonesia's top songs in 2022, Sang Dewi by Lyodra Ginting and Andi Rianto was chosen to later be visualized with a new concept meaning of the song and cultural implications that introduce Indonesia's culture. This project was planned with several research stages that include analyzing the song's lyrics, its song structure, and its story within the lyrics. And with that research, it was concluded to have these keywords (heavenly and heartwarming) to help realize this project. The art style that was used in the project was determined by the target audience. The final result for this design is an animated music video clip of Sang Dewi and this paper will be focusing on the character designs and animation that represents Indonesia’s culture.
