Abstract

Rumah penampungan anjing area Jabodetabek menghadapi permasalahan yang sama, yaitu kurangnya minat masyarakat untuk berkunjung yang berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya angka keberhasilan kegiatan adopsi. Rumah Singgah TPP diangkat menjadi studi kasus. Proyek perancangan desain mencoba untuk meneliti, menemukan akar permasalahan dan permasalahan interior yang terjadi, untuk dapat memberikan solusi yang dapat membantu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa permasalahan disebabkan oleh minimnya fasilitas dan sistem yang menunjang kebutuhan pengunjung untuk mempermudah kegiatan adopsi, serta pembagian zona dan ruang yang tidak beraturan. Sehingga solusi yang diberikan berupa perancangan bangunan pusat adopsi yang didesain dengan metode pendekatan kaitan ruang dalam dan luar, berfokus untuk mendukung seluruh rangkaian kegiatan adopsi dengan memberi kemudahan dan kenyamanan bagi pengunjung dalam berinteraksi dengan anjing- anjing penampungan. Perancangan berfokus dalam memperbaiki alur sirkulasi, pembagaian zona dan ruang, serta perancangan sistem kegiatan adopsi. Perancangan desain memperbaiki segi estetis dan fungsional interior untuk meningkatkan performa Rumah Singgah TPP sebagai sebuah penampungan binatang./ Dog shelters in the Jabodetabek area face the same problem, lack of public interest in visiting dog shelters, which affects the low success rate of adoption activities. Rumah Singgah TPP is chosen as a case study. This design project paper tries to find the root causes and interior problems that occur, to be able to provide solutions that can help overcome the problem that is faced by dog shelters. The result of the study found that problems were caused by the lack of facilities and system that support the needs of visitors in the shelter, especially adoption activities. Problems are also caused by disorganized division of zones and spaces. Therefore, solutions are provided by designing an adoption center building with indoor and outdoor relation method, that focus on supporting adoption activities by providing convenience and comfort to visitors while interacting with shelter dogs. The design focuses on improving circulation flow, better division of zones and spaces, as well as designing an adoption system. This design project is done to improve the interior through aesthetic and functional aspects, in order to improve the performance of Rumah Singgah TPP as an animal shelter.
