Abstract

inkubasi produk kreatif yang menjadi salah satu sumber dalam memperkenalkan budaya Indonesia dan melestarikan budaya Indonesia. Kini, budaya Indonesia terpengaruhi oleh adanya globalisasi, dimana globalisasi dapat membuat budaya tergusur dari bentuk utamanya. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari peracangan proyek tugas akhir ini untuk membantu merepresentasikan budaya Indonesia melalui media yang sangat mempengaruhi globalisasi dan media tersebut merupakan bagian dari globalisasi. Dengan memperkenalkan budaya Indonesia, diharapkan perancangan proyek tugas akhir ini dapat menginspirasikan pelaku ekonomi kreatif untuk tetap berkarya dan melestarikan budaya Indonesia. Perancangan ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dan analisis data yang didapatkan dari berbagai sumber. Di antaranya adalah jurnal artikel, dan buku. Data tersebut digunakan sebagai referensi, landasan teori, menekankan teori dan menjadi panduan dalam perancangan ini. Hasil akhir dari perancangan ini dalah menjadi buku konsep visual yang berfokus pada desain karakter dalam inkubasi produk kreatif video game “Legacy of Moksha”. Penulis menggunakan dua kata kunci yakni (1) gloomy yang akan menunjukkan dunia “Legacy of Moksha” secara keseluruhan dan (2) royal yang menunjukkan karakter utama dan sub karakter utama seperti boss dan kedua orang tua karakter utama./The video game “Legacy of Moksha” is a form of product incubation medium which is a source for introducing Indonesian culture and preserving Indonesian culture. Now, Indonesian culture is affected by globalization, where globalization can make culture displaced from its main form. Therefore, the purpose of designing this final project is to help represent Indonesian culture through media that greatly influenced by globalization and these media is part of globalization. By introducing Indonesian culture, it is hope that the design of this final project can inspire creative economy actors to keep working and preserving Indonesian culture. This design uses literature study methods and data analysis obtained from diverse sources. Among them are journals, articles, and books. The data is used as reference, theoretical basis, emphasizes theory and provided as a guide in this design. The final output of this design is a visual concept book fixating on character design in the video game creative product incubation “Legacy of Moksha”. The author uses two keywords namely (1) gloomy which will show the worldbuilding of “Legacy of Moksha” as a whole and (2) royal which shows the main character and main sub characters such as the boss and the main character’s parents.
