Abstract

Kepala sekolah Kristen yang melakukan perannya sebagai pemimpin yang transformasional, akan menggerakkan setiap guru untuk memandang visi, misi, dan seluruh rangkaian kegiatan sekolah sebagai suatu hal yang terintegrasi untuk tujuan menyatakan keutamaan Kristus. Melihat betapa pentingnya peran kepala sekolah dalam pertumbuhan formasi spiritual guru, maka perlu dieksplorasi bagaimana kepemimpinan transformasional kepala SMP dan SMA XYZ Tangerang dijalankan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan strategi studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data dan informasi yang dibutuhkan akan dikumpulkan melalui proses wawancara. Pengujian keabsahan instrumen penelitian dilakukan dengan meminta ahli dalam bidang kepemimpinan, metodologi penelitian, dan formasi spiritual. Keabsahan data dan informasi yang diterima oleh peneliti dilakukan dengan proses triangulasi sumber. Data dan informasi yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah benar-benar terjadi, dan berperan dalam proses pertumbuhan formasi spiritual guru SMP dan SMA XYZ Tangerang. / Christian school principals who carry out their role as transformational leaders will inspire each teacher to see the vision, mission, and the entire series of school activities as an integrated matter for the purpose of proclaiming the preeminence of Christ. Seeing how important the role of the principal is in the growth of the teacher's spiritual formation, it is necessary to explore how the transformational leadership of the principals of SMP and SMA XYZ Tangerang is carried out. This study used a qualitative research method with a case study strategy. The subjects in this study were determined using a purposive sampling method. The data and information needed were collected through an interview process. Testing the validity of the research instrument was carried out by asking experts in the fields of leadership, research methodology, and spiritual formation. The validity of the data and information received by the researchers was carried out by means of a source triangulation process. The data and information collected were analyzed using descriptive methods. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the principals’ transformational leadership actually occurred, and played a role in the process of spiritual formation growth for teachers of SMP and SMA XYZ Tangerang.
