Abstract
Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan di kelas XI IPA sekolah ABC di Lampung, peneliti menemukan bahwa siswa kurang dalam berpikir kritis hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengajaran yang dapat melatih siswa berpikir kritis sehingga siswa belum mampu berpikir kritis yang belum mampu menjawab pertanyaan high order thinking level. Oleh karena itu, peneliti memutuskan upaya peningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI IPA dengan tujuan untuk melihat kemampuan berpikir kritis yang dimiliki siswa kelas XIIPA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus yang melibatkan 7 orang siswa. Data akan dianalisis dengan analisis kualitatif dan statistic deskriptif sederhana. Hasil data dari instrumen-instrumen seperti lembar pertanyaan (Tes), lembar refleksi peneliti, observasi mentor, dan lembar angket. Berdasarkan data yang didapatkan terbukti bahwa pengajaran aspek-aspek berpikir kritis dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Walaupun tidak semua mencapai 75% siswa indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis. Namun dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengajaran aspek-aspek berpikir kritis adalah upaya tepat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
