Abstract

Isu mengenai seni sebagai media diseminasi informasi publik kini terasa mendesak untuk diwacanakan dan dibangkitkan kembali. Perubahan dan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang cepat serta dinamika sosial seakan mempengaruhi pilihan strategi komunikasi dan diseminasi informasi publik. Penyebaran informasi khususnya pada ranah digital menjadi senjata ampuh bagi produsen untuk mengantarkan sebuah pesan menuju ke audiens. Kajian mengenai penerimaan pesan bagi audiens tentunya menjadi hal yang penting, guna untuk mengetahui bentuk penerimaan khalayak terhadap suatu informasi yang disampaikan. Stuart Hall menjelaskan bagaimana sebuah proses dalam komunikasi yaitu saat pesan diciptakan atau disebut di-encode serta saat pesan diterima atau di-decode oleh produsen serta konsumen pesan; yang dalam hal ini ialah media serta khalayak. Media sosial digunakan sebagai sarana untuk berpendapat, mengekspresikan sesuatu (opini, kesukaan, dan sebagainya). Selain itu ada hal lain yang menjadi penting terkait perhatian penerimaan individu serta responnya dalam proses komunikasi massa, khususnya bagi suatu komunitas di media sosial. Komunitas yang ideal, baiknya mampu memberikan informasi yang dibutuhkan bagi anggotanya. Pada komunitas tari, tujuannya untuk melakukan diseminasi informasi dan pada akhirnya bisa meningkatkan keterampilan dalam menari. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme untuk menjelaskan dan memberikan gambaran mengenai resepsi audiens dalam diseminasi informasi digital mengenai tari modern. Pengumpulan data akan dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi untuk melengkapi data primer. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa resepsi audiens pada informasi yang disampaikan oleh komunitas tari Count of 8 tergambarkan dalam beberapa bentuk. / The issue of art as a medium for disseminating public information now feels urgent to be discussed and refuses to return. Changes and rapid developments in information and communication technology and social dynamics seem to influence the choice of communication strategy and dissemination of public information. The dissemination of information, especially in the digital realm, is a powerful weapon for producers to deliver a message to the audience. The study of message reception for the audience is of course important, in order to find out the form of audience acceptance of the information conveyed. Stuart Hall explains how a process in communication is when the message is created or said to be encoded and when the message is received or decoded by the producer and the consumer's message; which in this case is the media and the audience. Social media is used as a means to express opinions, express something (opinions, preferences, and so on). In addition, there are other things that are important related to attention to individual acceptance and response in the process of mass communication, especially for a community on social media. An ideal community should be able to provide the information needed for its members. In the dance community, the goal is to disseminate information and ultimately improve dancing skills. This research was conducted using the constructivism paradigm to explain and provide an overview of audience reception in the dissemination of digital information about modern dance. Data collection will be carried out through in-depth interviews and documentation to complement the primary data. The results show that the audience's acceptance of the information conveyed by the Count of 8 dance community is depicted in several forms.
