Abstract

Komunitas bernama “Sobat Icad” menggunakan media sosial untuk menyuarakan aspirasi mereka dalam mendukung Richard Eliezer sebagai justice collaborator dalam kasus pembunuhan Brigadir J. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti mengidentifikasi strategi yang digunakan oleh komunitas Sobat Icad dalam menggunakan media sosial sebagai wadah untuk memberikan dukungan melalui kampanye. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan Teori Stimulus, Organisme, dan Respons menurut Carl Hovland dan Konsep Kampanye menurut Anne Gregory. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus dan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya strategi penggunaan media sosial yang disusun oleh komunitas Sobat Icad dalam melakukan kampanye mereka. Mulai dari pemilihan platform media sosial menggunakan Instagram dan Whatsapp, pemilihan konten-konten menggunakan foto, poster, dan video, serta penetapan aturan-aturan bagi setiap anggota komunitas Sobat Icad untuk selalu mengunggah konten yang dilandaskan oleh fakta tanpa dilebih-lebihkan. Peneliti berharap dalam penelitian selanjutnya, peneliti dapat melakukan penelitian dengan menyoroti perspektif masyarakat baik yang pro maupun kontra untuk melihat dinamika sosial melalui respon masyarakat terkait dengan diselenggarakannya dukungan kampanye terhadap Richard Eliezer sebagai justice collaborator. / Community called "Sobat Icad" use social media to express their aspirations in supporting Richard Eliezer as a justice collaborator in the case of Brigadier J's murder. Through this study, the researchers identified the strategies used by Sobat Icad community in utilizing social media as a platform to provide support through campaigns. The research was conducted based on the Stimulus, Organism, and Response Theory by Carl Hovland and the Campaign Concept by Anne Gregory. The researchers employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study research method. The study results showed the existence of social media usage strategies formulated by Sobat Icad community in conducting their campaigns. This includes the selection of social media platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp, the choice of content using photos, posters, and videos, as well as the establishment of rules for each member of the Sobat Icad community to always upload content based on factual information without exaggeration. In future research, the researchers hope to explore the perspectives of both supportive and opposing communities to examine the social dynamics through the public's response regarding the organization of campaign support for Richard Eliezer as a justice collaborator.
