Abstract

Penting bagi guru untuk memastikan bahwa siswa mampu menerima pembelajaran dengan baik dan bukan hanya mendengarkan kemudian melupakan. Ketika siswa dapat menerima pembelajaran dengan baik maka besar peluang bagi siswa untuk mendapatkan hasil belajar yang baik. Metode konvensional berupa ceramah yang diterapkan guru membuat siswa pasif dan tidak bisa menerima pembelajaran dengan lebih optimal. Hasil belajar siswa juga terlihat masih rendah. Guru perlu menerapkan model pembelajaran yang berbeda untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan siswa dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered heads together (NHT) terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas X. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis kuasi eksperimental. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 67 orang, jumlah sampel sebanyak 39 orang yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dalam penelitian berupa hasil pre-test dan post-test sampel. Uji validitas dilakukan dengan menggunakan Korelasi Pearson, dan uji reliabilitas dengan Alpha Cronbach. Data dalam penelitian ini tidak berdistribusi normal, sehingga untuk uji perbandingan rata�rata dilakukan dengan uji Mann-Whitney U melalui program SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan model kooperatif NHT terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari signifikansi hasil uji perbandingan adalah 0,335 lebih besar dari taraf signifikansi 0,05 (0,335 > 0,05). / It is important for teachers to ensure that students are able to receive learning well and not just listen and then forget. When students can receive learning well then the opportunity for students to get good learning outcomes. The conventional method of the lecture applied by the teacher makes the students passive and can not accept learning more optimally. Student learning outcomes also appear to be low. Teachers need to apply different learning models to optimize students' learning skills. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is influence the use of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) on the learning outcomes of biology students class X. This research is a quantitative type of quasi-experimental. Total population in this study were 67 people, 39 people total sample were determined by purposive sampling. The research data in the form of the pre-test and post-test sample. Validity test is done by using Pearson correlation, and reliability tested with Cronbach Alpha. The data were not normally distributed, so for the average comparative test conducted by the Mann-Whitney U test by SPSS. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant effect of use of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) on students learning outcomes. This is shown from the significance of the comparison test results is 0.335 is greater than the significance level of 0.05 (0.335> 0.05)
