Abstract

Pembelajaran sains akan lebih bermakna manakala pengetahuan yang dimiliki siswa merupakan hasil usaha untuk mencari tahu sendiri dan didasari oleh rasa ingin tahu. Untuk memperoleh pengetahuan yang ilmiah, dibutuhkan suatu tindakan yang menuntut peran siswa yang melakukan sikap ilmiah selama proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan di kelas XI MIPA 4, peneliti mendapati bahwa siswa kurang dilibatkan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga siswa memiliki sikap ilmiah yang rendah. Peneliti memutuskan menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa dan mengetahui tahap-tahap model inkuiri terbimbing dalam meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dari tanggal 13 hingga 26 September 2016 dengan subjek penelitian 27 siswa kelas XI MIPA 4 SMA BOPKRI 1 Yogyakarta. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data ialah lembar observasi, lembar angket, wawancara, refleksi peneliti, dan tes siswa. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari masing-masing instrumen menunjukkan bahwa sikap ilmiah siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing yang terdiri dari tahap orientasi, pembuatan rumusan masalah, pembuatan hipotesis, pengumpulan data, pengujian hipotesis, dan pembuatan kesimpulan. / Scientific learning will be more meaningfull if student find out the knowledge by them selves and by their curiosity. It will takes an action which student should doing scientific attitude during learning process to get the knowledge. Based on the observation in XI MIPA 4 class, researcher found that students are less involved in the learning process so they have a low scientific attitude. Researcher decided to applying inquiry guided learning model to solve that problem. The aims of this research are to increase student’s scientific attitude and to know the phases of guided inquiry in increasing student’s scientific attitude. This research uses classroom action research method held from 13rd until 26th September 2016 with 27 students of XI MIPA 4 SMA BOPKRI 1 Yogyakarta as subjects. Research instrument are observation sheet, questionnaire sheet, interview, researcher reflection, and test. The result of this research based on data from each instrument show that student’s scientific attitude increased by the implementation of guided inquiry learning model that consists of the orientation phase, problem statement, hypothesis, data collection, verification, and conclusion.
