Abstract

Pengambilan keputusan merupakan hal yang penting dalam menentukan langkah berikutnya bagi sebuah institusi ketika diperhadapkan dengan dua pilihan atau lebih agar tetap berada di jalur yang akan dituju. Pengambilan keputusan dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang berkaitan secara langsung maupun secara tidak langsung. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui peran worldview kependidikan dan spiritualitas Kristen dalam pengambilan keputusan kepala sekolah di Sekolah Dian Harapan. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan strategi studi kasus. Data dan informasi yang dihimpun, didapatkan melalui wawancara yang dilakukan dan disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka disimpulkan bahwa pengambilan keputusan yang diambil para kepala sekolah dipengaruhi oleh peran worldview kependidikan yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing kepala sekolah baik itu visi dan misi sekolah, Statement of Faith, Expected Students Outcomes, Peraturan Yayasan Pendidikan Pelita Harapan, Parent Student Hand Book, pembiayaan, dan Dokumen Intelektual. (2) Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah diapaparkan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa setiap kepala Sekolah Dian Harapan sudah berusaha mendasarkan segala pengambilan keputusannya berdasarkan Firman Tuhan. Terlihat juga bagaimana kepala sekolah senantiasa berdoa dalam pengambilan keputusan yang dihadapi dan tentunya dengan dukungan dari komunitas yang ada di sekolah tersebut./Decision making is important in determining the next step for an institution when faced with two or more choices to stay on track. Decision making is influenced by variables related directly or indirectly. This study aims to determine the role of educational worldview and Christian spirituality in principal decision making at Sekolah Dian Harapan. The data processing technique used in this study is a qualitative research method with a case study strategy. The data and information collected was obtained through interviews conducted and it was concluded that: (1) Based on the results of the research that had been carried out, it was concluded that the decision making taken by school principals was influenced by the role of the educational worldview held by each principal, be it vision and school mission, Statement of Faith, Expected Student Outcomes, Yayasan Pendidikan Pelita Harapan Regulations, Parent Student Hand Book, finance, and Intellectual Documents. (2) Based on the research that has been presented, it can be concluded that every principal of the Sekolah Dian Harapan has tried to base all decision making on the Word of God. It can also be seen how the principal always prays in making decisions and of course with the support of the community in the school.
