Abstract

PT.Karya Cipta Mina Jaya(KCMJ) sebagai sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penyimpanan ikan hasil tangkapan menghadapi dua permasalahan yang dampaknya signifikan terhadap ekspansi bisnisnya. Persoalan pertama adalah rendahnya penetrasi pasar online dan kedua, keterbatasan aksesibilitas ke produk seafood. Berdasarkan analisis menyeluruh terhadap kedua permasalahan tersebut dilakukan perancangan purwarupa (prototype) e-commerce. Perancangan ini dimaksudkan sebagai solusi inovatif yang memungkinkan perusahaan untuk menjual produk seafood secara online melalui platform e-commerce dan memberikan pengalaman pengguna dalam memeroleh seafood berkualitas. Melalui analisis sistem PT. KCMJ yang berjalan dan kebutuhan pengguna, aspek perubahan yang dapat mengakomodasi penyelesaian permasalahan melalui perancangan purwarupa e-commerce dapat didefinisikan dengan baik. Fitur-fitur mendasar yang disediakan pada purwarupa e-commerce di antaranya adalah penayangan kategori produk yang jelas, deskripsi produk yang informatif, gambar produk yang menarik dan informasi ketersediaan stok. Berkaitan dengan transaksi, pembeli dapat mengelola keranjang belanja mereka, memilih metode pembayaran dan menentukan opsi pengiriman sesuai preferensi. Secara khusus, perancangan prototipe ini turut mempertimbangkan fitur-fitur penting seperti pengaturan produk, kategorisasi, sub-kategorisasi, pengunggahan gambar produk, dan pengolahan stok produk. Fitur lainnya adalah pencatatan data penjualan berdasarkan lokasi, jumlah dan produk terlaris yang dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi lokasi pasar yang volume penjualannya terbilang rendah. Pengujian penerimaan pengguna dari purwarupa e-commerce yang ada menunjukkan bahwa fitur-fitur mendasar dan utama bekerja sesuai ekspektasi. Selanjutnya purwarupa e-commerce ini diharapkan dapat membantu PT. KCMJ dalam memperluas jangkauan pasar, meningkatkan penjualan produk seafood, dan memberikan pengalaman belanja yang memuaskan bagi pelanggan. Purwarupa ini juga dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut sesuai dengan perkembangan kebutuhan dan dinamika pasar yang terjadi. / PT. Karya Cipta Mina Jaya (KCMJ) is a company engaged in the storage of captured fish and is facing two significant problems that affect its business expansion. The first problem is the low penetration of the online market, and the second is limited accessibility to seafood products. Based on a comprehensive analysis of these two problems, a prototype e�commerce design has been developed. This design is intended as an innovative solution that enables the company to sell seafood products online through an e-commerce platform and provide users with a quality seafood shopping experience. Through an analysis of the existing KCMJ system and user needs, the aspects of change that can accommodate the resolution of these problems through the prototype e�commerce design can be well defined. The fundamental features provided in the e�commerce prototype include clear product categories, informative product descriptions, attractive product images, and stock availability information. In terms of transactions, buyers can manage their shopping carts, choose payment methods, and determine shipping options according to their preferences. Specifically, this prototype design also considers important features such as product management, categorization, sub-categorization, product image uploading, and stock processing. Another feature is the recording sales data based on location, quantity, and best-selling products, which can be used to identify low-volume market locations. User acceptance testing of the existing e-commerce prototype has shown that the fundamental and main features work as expected. Furthermore, it is expected that this e�commerce prototype will help PT. KCMJ expands its market reach, increase seafood product sales, and provide a satisfying shopping experience for customers. This prototype can also be further developed according to the evolving needs and dynamics of the market
