Abstract

Media sosial merupakan media online yang sering digunakan dan mudah diakses oleh semua kalangan masyarakat. Tingginya angka penggunaan Internet dan media sosial di Indonesia menjadi salah satu faktor bahwa masyarakat memiliki ruang untuk bebas memberikan opini atau asumsi terhadap suatu hal. Saat ini, terdapat perusahaan media yang memanfaatkan media sosial seperti YouTube sebagai sarana pemberitaan atau pembuatan konten digital. Salah satunya adalah Metro TV, yang memiliki program Kick Andy dan dapat diakses melalui website dan kanal YouTubeMetro TV. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pembentukan citra Kementerian Keuangan pasca kasus penganiayaan yang dilakukan Mario Dandy melalui pernyataan Sri Mulyani, dan bangunan wacana oleh Andy F. Noya akan citra Kementerian Keuangan. Media yang dipilih adalah kanal YouTube Metro TV pada program TalkshowKIck Andy, dalam episode "Tangan Besi Sri Mulyani" yang ditayangkan pada tanggal 5 Maret 2023. Analisis wacana kritis model Teun Van Dijk digunakan untuk membuktikan temuan data citra melalui kata yang ditranskrip pada video tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi kasus dan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa citra Kementerian Keuangan yang terbentuk melalui setiap pernyataan dariSri Mulyani, dan melalui bangunan wacana oleh Andy F. Noya akan citra Kementerian Keuangan yang membuktikan bahwa citra Kementerian Keuangan negatif di mata masyarakat. / Social media is online media that is often used and easily accessed by all levels of society. The high number of Internet and social media usage in Indonesia is one of the factors that gives society the space to freely give opinions or assumptions about things. Currently, there are media companies that utilize social media such as YouTube as a means of reporting or creating digital content. One of them is Metro TV, which has a Kick Andy program and can be accessed through Metro TV's website and YouTube channel. This research was conducted to find out the formation of the image of the Ministry of Finance after the persecution case committed by Mario Dandy through Sri Mulyani's statement, and the building of discourse by Andy F. Noya on the image of the Ministry of Finance. The selected media is Metro TV's YouTube channel on the TalkshowKIck Andy program, in the episode "Tangan Besi Sri Mulyani" which aired on March 5, 2023. Critical discourse analysis using the Teun Van Dijk model is used to prove the findings of image data through the words transcribed in the video. This research is a qualitative research method using case studies and a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the image of the Ministry of Finance is formed through each statement from Sri Mulyani, and through the building of discourse by Andy F. Noya on the image of the Ministry of Finance which proves that the image of the Ministry of Finance is negative in the public view.
