Abstract

The role of teacher is not only required to teach about knowledge content, but also to integrate Christian faith in learning to reveal the glory of God, as well as increase students’ understanding. Faith integration must be processed and developed through proper learning by the teacher. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the role of the teacher and the integration of faith in learning. The subjects used for this research were nine (9) teachers who taught at an XYZ private school, where they understood the importance of faith integration. The research design used is a case study with a qualitative approach. The results of the study showed that the teachers’ role is very important in the learning process to embed complete and firm faith integration for students. / Peran guru tidak hanya dituntut untuk mengajar konten pengetahuan, namun mengintegrasikan iman kristen dalam pembelajaran untuk menyatakan kemuliaan Allah, serta meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik. Integrasi iman harus diproses dan dikembangkan melalui pembelajaran secara tepat oleh guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peran guru dan integrasi iman dalam pembelajaran. Adapun subjek penelitian adalah 9 guru yang mengajar di sebuah Sekolah Swasta XYZ di Kota Kupang, dimana memahami pentingnya integrasi iman. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran untuk menanamkan integrasi iman secara utuh dan teguh bagi peserta didik.
