Abstract

Mewabahnya virus COVID-19 ke seluruh dunia ini berdampak kepada seluruh aspek kehidupan manusia, terkhususnya pendidikan Indonesia. Pemerintah akhirnya perlu mengambil tindakan berani dalam mencanangkan sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan bantuan internet. Namun, perubahan mendadak ini tentu menerima respon beragam dari masyarakat terkhususnya para pelajar, dimana terdapat kesenjangan yang membuat kebijakan ini tidak dapat sepenuhnya berjalan dengan lancar dan malah berdampak pada stress akademik mereka. Terkhususnya bagi mahasiswa beasiswa di UPH yang memiliki tanggung jawab cenderung lebih banyak dibandingkan mahasiswa reguler pada umumnya. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 130 orang dengan menggunakan alat ukur The Social Provision Scale dan Skala stress akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi untuk melihat pengaruh persepsi dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap stress akadmeik mahasiswa beasiswa UPH di masa PJJ. Ditemukan hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh sebanyak 41.6% persepsi dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap stress akademik. / COVID-19 virus that has been a pandemic throughout the world since 2020, has its impacts on all aspects of human life, especially the education system in Indonesia. The government took bold action in launching a distance learning system with the help of the internet, called PJJ. However, this sudden change received various responses from the public, especially the students, where it instead had the impact on their academic stress. Especially for scholarship students at Pelita Harapan University who tend to have more responsibilities than regular students. There are 130 respondents, using The Social Provision Scale and the academic stress scale. This study uses a regression test to see the effect of perceived peer social support on the academic stress of UPH scholarship students during the PJJ period. The results found that there is an influence of 41.6% on perceived peer social support on academic stress.
