Abstract

Agresi sangat biasa terjadi di usia remaja. Agresi adalah perilaku yang diniatkan untuk menyakiti orang lain. Pada remaja selain karena faktor biologis agresi yang dapat terjadi karena faktor sosial. Salah satunya karena rasa frustasi. Salah satu bentuk frustasi pada remaja ketika mereka tidak mendapatkan apa yang menjadi keutuhan mereka, contohnya mattering. Ketika remaja merasa tidak signifikan remaja memungkinkan memaksa atensi tersebut melalui agresi. Mattering adalah salah satu hal penting dalam berelasi. Mattering adalah persepsi bahwa kita berarti dan menjadi bagian yang signifikan bagi orang lain. Keluarga adalah sumber utama mattering. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara variabel mattering to family dan perilaku agresif pada remaja. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah remaja madya di Jawa Barat. Peneliti mengambil sampel dengan purposive sampling dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 126. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah the mattering index dan the aggression questionnaire yang sudah diterjemahkan ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan negative antara variabel mattering to family dan perilaku agresi pada remaja./Aggression is very common in adolescence. Aggression is behavior that is intended to hurt another person. In adolescents apart from biological factors, aggression can occur due to social factors. One of them because of frustration. One form of frustration in adolescents when they do not get what they need, for example. When adolescents feel insignificant they may force that tension through aggression. Material is one of the important things in relationships. Problems are considered that we are meaningful and become a significant part of others. Family is the main source of problems. In this study aims to see the relationship between important variables with family and aggressive behavior in adolescents. The participants in this study were middle adolescents in West Java. The researcher took a sample by purposive sampling with a total of 126 participants. The instruments used were the mattering index and aggression questionnaire which had been translated into Indonesian. The results of the correlation test showed that there was a negative relationship between the variable mattering to family and aggressive behavior in adolescents
