Abstract

Perceraian orang tua marak terjadi di Pulau Jawa dan oleh karena itu banyak anak remaja yang terdampak oleh dampak buruknya. Hal ini bisa lebih menantang lagi bagi remaja SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas), karena di saat yang bersamaan mereka juga perlu mengatasi masalah-masalah perkembangan remajanya yang semakin rumit. Kerumitan hidup yang mereka rasakan dapat berdampak pada menurunnya tingkat SWB (Subjective Well-Being), karena kepuasan hidup dan perasaan mereka jadi terganggu. Walaupun begitu, adanya unsur keluarga, seperti keberfungsian keluarga tetap dianggap penting untuk masa perkembangan remaja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat korelasi antara keberfungsian keluarga dan SWB remaja SMA yang orang tuanya sudah bercerai di Pulau Jawa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan desain penelitiannya adalah korelasional. Untuk keberfungsian keluarga, peneliti menggunakan FAD (Functioning Family Assessment Device) versi singkat. Sedangkan untuk mengukur SWB, peneliti menggunakan SWLS (Satisfaction With Life Scale) dan SPANE (Scale of Positive and Negative Experience). Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 213 remaja SMA yang orang tuanya sudah bercerai di Pulau Jawa, dengan rentang usia 15 - 18 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya korelasi positif dan signifikan antara keberfungsian keluarga dan SWB remaja SMA yang orang tuanya sudah bercerai di Pulau Jawa (r = .290, p < .001). / Parental divorce is common in Java therefore many adolescents are affected by its effects. This situation can be more challenging for the high school adolescent, because they need to deal with the increasingly complex adolescent development issues. The complexity of life they feel can decrease their SWB (Subjective Well�Being) because their life satisfaction and feelings are disturbed. Nonetheless, the existence of family through family functioning, is still considered vital for adolescent development. The researcher aims to see the correlation between family functioning and SWB of high school adolescents who have divorced parents in Java. This is quantitative research, and its research design is correlational. The researcher used the brief version of the FAD (Functioning Family Assessment Device) to measure a family functioning variable, and the SWLS (Satisfaction With Life Scale) and SPANE (Scale of Positive and Negative Experience) to measure SWB. The sample of this study were 213 high school adolescents who have divorced parents in Java, with an age range of 15 - 18 years. The results of this research indicate that there is a positive and a significant correlation between family functioning and SWB of high school adolescents who have divorced parents in Java (r = .290, p < .001).
