Abstract

Kolombia adalah negara Amerika Selatan yang terletak di barat laut benua, diapit oleh Venezuela di utara, Panama di barat laut, Ekuador di barat daya dan Peru di selatan. Negara ini sejatinya secara geopolitik cukup strategis mengingat kondisi geografisnya hingga partisipasinya di kancah internasional dan regional, sehingga dalam tesis ini penulis berkenan untuk melihat bagaimana geopolitiknya terhadap kawasan Amerika Selatan, serta bagaimana Kolombia dapat berkontribusi terhadap kerjasamanya dengan Indonesia Indonesia. Penelitian tesis ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan data sekunder berupa studi pustaka. Kolombia dalam geopolitik dan kontribusinya terhadap kerjasamanya dengan Indonesia sekiranya perlu untuk ditingkatkan dalam berbagai bidang. / Colombia is a South American country located in the northwest of the continent, flanked by Venezuela to the north, Panama to the northwest, Ecuador to the southwest and Peru to the south. This country is quite strategic geopolitically considering its geographical conditions to its participation in the international and regional arenas, so in this thesis the author is pleased to see how its geopolitics is in the South American region, and how Colombia can contribute to its cooperation with Indonesia. This thesis research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research method. Research data collection was carried out using secondary data in the form of literature studies. Colombia in geopolitics and its contribution to its cooperation with Indonesia should be improved in various fields.
