Abstract

Universitas Pelita Harapan merupakan perguruan tinggi yang memiliki Program Studi di bidang fakultas pengelolaan perhotelan dan memiliki fasilitas laboratorium kamar untuk menunjang praktek Housekeeping. Universitas Pelita Harapan menyediakan sepuluh kamar dengan standar hotel yang biasanya digunakan sebagai tempat praktek Housekeeping oleh para mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan deskriptif. Dari hasil observasi, kondisi kamar hotel di Universitas Pelita Harapan terlihat berantakan dan tampak tidak terurus. Terlihat ranjang berada di keadaan yang berdebu, terdapat jamur kaca di jendela, toilet yang jarang dibersihkan secara berkala, dan situasi kamar 209 yang berantakan dikarenakan dijadikan sebagai gudang sementara. Hasil wawancara menjelaskan bahwa kamar laboratorium di Universitas Pelita Harapan tidak rapi dan berdebu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Universitas Pelita Harapan dapat memberikan pelatihan mengenai SOP pemeliharaan kebersihan kamar kepada penanggung jawab kebersihan kamar. Pada saat peneliti melakukan observasi pada tanggal 31 Maret 2023, kamar atau laboratorium tata graha fakultas pariwisata Universitas Pelita Harapan sedang dalam proses renovasi.(Bahasa Indonesia)/ Pelita Harapan University is a tertiary institution that has a study program in the faculty of hotel management and has laboratory room facilities to support housekeeping practices. Pelita Harapan University provides ten rooms with hotel standards which are usually used as a place for housekeeping practice by students. The type of research used in this research is observation and descriptive. From the results of observations, the condition of hotel rooms at Pelita Harapan University looked messy and looked unkempt. It can be seen that the bed is in a dusty state, there is glass mold on the window, the toilet is rarely cleaned regularly, and the situation in room 209 is messy because it was used as a temporary warehouse. The interview results explained that the laboratory room at Pelita Harapan University was untidy and dusty. This study aims to enable Pelita Harapan University to provide training on SOP for maintaining room cleanliness to those in charge of room cleanliness. When the researchers made their observations on March 31, 2023, the room or housekeeping laboratory at the tourism faculty of Pelita Harapan University was in the process of being renovated.(Bahasa Inggris)
