Abstract

Curiosity, independence, and systematic thinking are important in learning. However, its influence on learning outcome has not received enough attention. Students who have finished processing with learning activities will get learning results. This is the extent to which knowledge can be understood by students. In fact, there are still many students who get poor results for number patterns and number lines. The purpose of the study is to analyze the effect of curiosity, independence, and systematic thinking on the learning outcomes of number patterns and number lines. The research was conducted in the 8th grade of of Santa Maria Junior High School in the academic year 2022/2023. Data were obtained by questionnaires given to respondents for the variables of curiosity and independence of grade 8 students. While systematic thinking and learning outcomes were obtained by giving a written description test. The results of the study were obtained with the effect test and regression test. The result is that curiosity, independence, and systematic thinking have a positive influence on the learning outcomes of 8th grade students of Santa Maria Junior High School. The regression equation of curiosity, independence, and systematic thinking together is Y=4,664+0,030X_1+(-0,027)X_2+0,852X_3. The biggest variable which influenced the outcome of learning mathematics in numbers patterns and number lines materials is the systematic way of thinking. This means the systematic way of thinking has influenced 0,852 to learning result. Whereas independency has negative coefficient outcome. / Rasa ingin tahu, kemandirian dan berpikir sistematis merupakan hal penting dalam pembelajaran. Tetapi hal tersebut belum dapat perhatian lebih untuk memengaruhi hasil belajar. Siswa yang telah selesai berproses dengan kegiatan pembelajaran akan mendapatkan hasil belajar. Hal tersebut merupakan sejauh mana suatu pengetahuan sudah dapat dipahami oleh siswa. Kenyataannya masih banyak siswa yang mendapatkan hasil kurang baik untuk pola bilangan dan barisan bilangan. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pengaruh rasa ingin tahu, kemandirian, dan berpikir sistematis terhadap hasil belajar pola bilangan dan barisan bilangan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Santa Maria kelas VIII tahun 2022/2023. Data diperoleh dengan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada responden untuk variabel rasa ingin tahu dan kemandirian siswa kelas VIII. Sedangkan berpikir sistematis dan hasil belajar diperoleh dengan memberikan tes uraian secara tertulis. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dengan uji pengaruh dan uji regresi. Hasilnya adalah rasa ingin tahu, kemandirian, berpikir sistematis mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Santa Maria. Persamaan regresi rasa ingin tahu, kemandirian, dan berpikir sistematis dengan kontrol masing-masing variabel adalah Y=4,664+0,030X_1+(-0,027)X_2+0,852X_3. Variabel yang paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi pola bilangan dan barisan bilangan adalah variabel berpikir sistematis. Yang artinya bahwa berpikir sistematis mempunyai pengaruh sebesar 0,852 terhadap hasil belajar. Sedangkan untuk kemandirian mempunyai hasil koefisien yang negative.
