Abstract

Numeracy skills, computational thinking, and collaboration need to be possessed by students to be able to adapt to advances in science, technology, and information. This study aims to analyze the differences between numeracy skills, computational thinking, and collaboration in classes that implement project-based learning and classes that apply the lecture method. The research subjects were 20 grade IV students at XYZ Depok School, for each experimental class and control class. The research period was carried out for four weeks starting from February 20 to March 17, 2023. This study used a weak experimental method with a static-group pretest and posttest design model. The research data was obtained through rubrics and test questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the analysis and statistical tests showed that the average value of the numeration skills rubric, computational thinking, and collaboration of students in the experimental class was greater than that of the control class. The data is supported by the average n-gain in the experimental class for numeracy skills, computational thinking, and collaboration which are in the high category with a value of 0.78 respectively; 0.83 and 0.82. Meanwhile, the average n-gain in the control class for numeracy skills, computational thinking, and collaboration is in the medium category with a value of 0.52; 0.49; and 0.55. Therefore it can be concluded that there is an increase in numeracy skills, computational thinking, and collaboration in the control class and the experimental class. / Keterampilan numerasi, berpikir komputasi dan kolaborasi perlu dimiliki oleh siswa agar mampu beradaptasi dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi serta informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan antara keterampilan numerasi, berpikir komputasi dan kolaborasi pada kelas yang menerapkan project based learning dengan kelas yang menerapkan metode ceramah. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV Sekolah XYZ Depok berjumlah 20, untuk masing-masing kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol. Periode penelitian dilakukan selama empat minggu dimulai 20 Februari sampai dengan 17 Maret 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode weak eksperiment dengan model static-group pretest dan posttest design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui rubrik dan soal tes yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil analisis dan uji statistik menunjukkan nilai rata-rata rubrik keterampilan numerasi, berpikir komputasi dan kolaborasi siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih besar dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Data tersebut didukung oleh rata-rata n-gain pada kelas eksperimen untuk keterampilan numerasi, berpikir komputasi dan kolaborasi berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai berturut-turut 0,78; 0,83 dan 0,82. Sedangkan pada rata-rata n-gain pada kelas kontrol untuk keterampilan numerasi, berpikir komputasi dan kolaborasi berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai berturut-turut 0,52; 0,49 dan 0,55. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan keterampilan numerasi, berpikir komputasi dan kolaborasi di kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen.
