Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan iklim tropis dan semakin panas setiap tahunnya. Hal tersebut akan berdampak pada masyarakat Indonesia yang memproduksi minyak dan keringat berlebih sehingga menimbulkan masalah pori-pori tersumbat dan jerawat. Jerawat adalah penyakit peradangan umum yang dapat terjadi pada unit pilosebasea. Umumnya jerawat terjadi akibat banyaknya jumlah Propionibacterium acnes dan Staphylococcus epidermidis pada kulit. Ekstrak biji anggur (Vitis vinifera L.) berpotensi memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap bakteri penyebab jerawat. Hasil analisa data menggunakan One-Way ANOVA yang diperoleh pada uji antibakteri terhadap P.acnes dan S.epidermidis yaitu p < 0,05 yang menandakan bahwa setiap variasi konsentrasi ekstrak biji anggur memiliki perbedaan aktivitas antibakteri yang signifikan. / Indonesia is a country with a tropical climate and it gets hotter every year. This will have an impact on Indonesian people who produce excess oil and sweat, causing problems with clogged pores and acne. Acne disease is a common inflammation that can occur in the pilosebaceous unit. Generally acne occurs due to the amount of Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis on the skin. Extracts grape seed (Vitis vinifera L.) have antibacterial activity against acne-causing bacteria. The results of data analysis using One-Way ANOVA were obtained in the antibacterial test on P.acnes and S.epidermidis, where p <0.05 which indicates that each variation in the concentration of grape seed extract has a significant difference in antibacterial activity.
