Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kolelitiasis atau batu empedu ialah endapan cairan pencernaan yang mengeras dan terbentuk di kantung empedu. Kolelitiasis merupakan masalah kesehatan utama yang sering ditangani oleh bedah umum. Kolesistektomi terbuka merupakan salah satu prosedur pengobatan dari kolelitiasis. Intervensi bedah ini akan memerlukan waktu untuk tinggal di rumah sakit. Berat badan akan mempengaruhi durasi lama rawat inap. Banyak hasil penelitian yang masih kontradiksi terhadap penelitian ini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara indeks massa tubuh terhadap durasi lama rawat inap pada teknik operasi kolesistektomi terbuka. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui adanya hubungan antara indeks massa tubuh terhadap durasi lama rawat inap pada teknik operasi kolesistektomi terbuka di Siloam Karawaci. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi potong lintang dengan populasi sampel penelitian pasien kolelitiasis di Siloam Karawaci. Besar sampel 51 dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data diambil dari rekam medis pasien dan akan diolah menggunakan uji Mann-U Whitney. Hasil: Dari 51 sampel, didapatkan nilai tengah durasi lama rawat inap subjek yang memiliki IMT <23 kg/m2 adalah 3 hari, dengan nilai terendah 1 hari , dan nilai tertinggi 5 hari. Sedangkan nilai tengah durasi lama rawat inap subjek yang memiliki IMT >23 kg/m2 adalah 3 hari dengan nilai terendah 2 hari, dan nilai tertinggi adalah 6 hari. Dari uji Mann-U Whitney ditemukan hasil perbandingan yang tidak bermakna (p > 0,05) Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan IMT dengan durasi rawat inap pada pasien kolelitiasis simtomatik yang menjalankan pembedahan kolesistektomi terbuka. Kata Kunci: kolelitiasis, kolesistektomi terbuka, indeks massa tubuh, durasi lama rawat inap / Background: Gallstones, also known as cholelithiasis, are hardened deposits of digestive fluids that develop in the gallbladder. A serious medical condition called cholelithiasis is frequently managed with general surgery. One of the treatments for cholelithiasis is an open cholecystectomy. It will take some time to recover from this surgical procedure at the hospital. The period of hospitalization will depend on the patient's weight. Numerous research findings continue to conflict with this study. As a result, this study was carried out to examine the connection between BMI and the length of hospital stay in the open cholecystectomy technique. Aim: This study aims to determine the relationship between body mass index and the duration of hospitalization in open cholecystectomy surgery techniques at RSUS Karawaci. Tools and Materials: This study used a cross-sectional study design with a sample population of cholelithiasis patients at Siloam Hospital. The sample size of 51 was selected using purposive sampling technique. Data is taken from the patient's medical record and the data collected will be analyzed using Mann-U Whitney. Result : From 51 samples, the mean length of stay for subjects with BMI < <23 kg/ m2 was 3 days, with the lowest value was 1 day and the highest value was 5 days. Meanwhile, the mean length of stay for subjects with BMI > 23 kg/ m2 was 3 days with the lowest value was 2 days and the highest value was 6 days. From the Mann-U Whitney test it was found that the results of the comparison were not significant (p> 0.05) Conclusion : This study shows there is no relationship between BMI and duration of hospitalization in cholelithiasis symptomatic patients undergoing open cholecystectomy surgery Keywords: cholelithiasis, open cholecystectomy, body mass index, length of hospitalization
