Abstract

Kasus tuberkulosis menjadi salah satu penyakit menular paling mematikan di dunia yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pada tahun 2020, 10 juta orang di dunia didiagnosis tuberkulosis dan menyebabkan 1,2 juta orang meninggal setiap tahunnya. Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan jumlah penderita TB tertinggi di dunia dengan perkiraan jumlah kasus 845.000 dengan angka kematian 98.000 kasus. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran kepatuhan minum obat pasien tuberkulosis di poliklinik paru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional deskriptif dengan kuesioner yang dilakukan secara prospektif dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kasus TB yang diteliti pada bulan April 2023 didapatkan sebanyak 78 responden dengan karakteristik pasien sebagian besar berjenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 40 pasien (51%) pada kelompok usia produktif 17-55 tahun dan yang paling banyak terkena tuberkulosis yaitu pada rentang usia 36-45 sebanyak 20 pasien (26%). Berdasarkan karakteristik diagnosis yang paling banyak terdiagnosis Tuberculosis of lung sebanyak 46 pasien (59%), kepatuhan waktu kontrol dan pengambilan obat sebanyak 66 pasien (84%) rutin kontrol tepat pada waktunya. Kepatuhan berdasarkan kuesioner sebanyak 71,7 % pasien patuh dalam meminum obat / Tuberculosis is one of the deadliest infectious diseases in the world caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. In 2020, 10 million people worldwide are diagnosed with tuberculosis and it causes 1.2 million people to die each year. Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest number of TB sufferers in the world with an estimated number of cases of 845,000 with a death rate of 98,000 cases. The purpose of this study was to describe drug adherence in tuberculosis patients at the pulmonary polyclinic. This study used a descriptive observational method with a questionnaire conducted prospectively and the sample was taken using total sampling. The results showed that the TB cases studied in April 2023 found 78 respondents with the characteristics of the patients being mostly male, 40 patients (51%) in the productive age group 17-55 years and who were most affected by tuberculosis, namely in the range aged 36-45 as many as 20 patients (26%). Based on the characteristics of the diagnosis, 46 patients (59%) were most diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis, 66 patients (84%) had timely follow-up and timely follow-up of medication. Medication adherence based on the questionnaire as much as 71.7% of patients are obedient in taking the drug
