Abstract

Gel peel-off mask sebuah kosmetik untuk merawat wajah dengan membentuk lapisan film ketika mengering. Daun melinjo mengandung senyawa aktif seperti flavonoid, tanin, alkaloid, saponin dan steroid. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri dari formulasi sediaan gel peel-off mask Ekstrak Etanol 70% Daun Melinjo (Gnetum gnemon L) dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Metode ekstraksi yang digunakan untuk memperoleh ekstrak kental daun melinjo yaitu dengan metode maserasi dan pelarut yang digunakan adalah etanol 70%. Dilakukan pengujian skrining fitokimia untuk mengetahui senyawa apa saja yang terkandung didalamnya. Pengujian antibakteri dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode difusi sumuran, dengan sampel diujikan langsung sebanyak 100 mg, klindamisin(5mg/100ml) sebagai kontrol positif dan DMSO 10% sebagai kontrol negatif. Formulasi Gel Peel-Off Mask akan diuji stabilitas fisik setelah penyimpanan ke 14 hari. Data pengujian antibakteri yang dihasilkan akan diuji One Way Anova, jika tidak terdistribusi normal menggunakan Kruskal Wallis program SPSS menggunakan rentang kepercayaan 95% dan dilanjutkan dengan Post Hoc Mann-Whitney. Dari pengujian skrining fitokimia diketahui bahwa ekstrak etano 70% daun melinjo memiliki senyawa flavonoid, alkaloid, tanin dan saponin. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil yaitu formulasi 2 gel peel-off mask memiliki antibakteri pada konsentrasi ekstrak yang dimasukan kedalam sediaan sebanyak 70% dengan zona hambat 18,65mm dan formulasi 1 konsentrasi ekstrak 60% dengan zona hambat 12,97 mm dari kedua formulasi masuk kedalam kategori Intermediet. Pengujian stabilitas sediaan formulasi F0, F1 dan F2 gel peel-off mask yang disimpan dalam14 hari mengalami ketidak stabilan namun diperoleh warna,bau, pH, homogenita dan waktu mengering masih memenuhi persyaratan namun terjadi perubahan bentuk menjadi lebih cair, sedangkan pengujian stabilitas daya sebar dari ketiga formulasi tidak memenuhi persyaratan . Kata Kunci: Gel peel-off mask, ekstrak daun melinjo, Gnetum gnemon L, Staphylococcus aureus/Gel peel-off mask is a cosmetic to treat the face by forming a film when it dries. Melinjo leaves contain active compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids, saponins and steroids. The purpose of the study was to determine the antibacterial activity of the peel-off mask gel preparation formulation of 70% Melinjo Leaf Ethanol Extract (Gnetum gnemon L) in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The extraction method used to obtain the thick extract of melinjo leaves is by maceration method and the solvent used is 70% ethanol. Phytochemical screening testing is carried out to find out what compounds are contained in it. Antibacterial testing was carried out using the sumuran diffusion method, with samples tested directly as much as 100 mg, clindamycin (5mg / 100ml) as a positive control and DMSO 10% as a negative control. The formulation of the Gel Peel-Off Mask will be tested for physical stability after storage to 14 days. The resulting antibacterial test data will be tested One Way Anova, if not normally distributed using the Kruskal Wallis SPSS program using a 95% confidence range and continued with Post Hoc Mann-Whitney. From phytochemical screening testing, it is known that 70% ethano extract of melinjo leaves has flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins and saponins. This study obtained results, namely formulation 2 peel-off mask gel has antibacterial at the concentration of extract included in the preparation as much as 70% with an inhibitory zone of 18.65mm and formulation 1 of 60% extract concentration with an inhibitory zone of 12.97mm from both formulations fall into the Intermediate category. Testing the stability of the preparation formulations F0, F1 and F2 gel peel-off mask stored within 14 days experienced instability but obtained color, odor, pH, homogeneity and drying time still met the requirements but there was a change in shape to be more liquid, while the dispersion stability testing of the three formulations did not meet the requirements.
