Abstract

Tuberkulosis (TB) merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh infeksi kuman Mycobacterium tuberculosis yang umumnya menyerang paru-paru. Menurut World Health Organization (WHO) pada tahun 2020 diperkirakan 10 juta orang menderita TB diseluruh dunia. Di antaranya 5,6 juta laki-laki, 3,3 juta perempuan, dan 1,1 juta anak-anak. Tuberkulosis menyerang mayoritas orang dewasa pada usia-usia produktif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kepatuhan minum obat pasien Tuberkulosis Paru di Instalasi Farmasi Rawat Jalan Rumah Sakit X Kota Tangerang periode Maret – April 2023. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu Nonprobability Sampling dengan total sampling. Metode pengumpulan data secara prospektif dan pengolahan data kuesioner kepatuhan pasien. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yakni pasien yang terdaftar dengan diagnosa TB paru di Rumah Sakit x Kota Tangerang yang berjumlah 91 orang. Hasilnya, responden berjenis kelamin perempuan lebih banyak daripada responden laki-laki yaitu sebanyak 62 responden. Lebih dari sebagian responden pada kelompok usia 26-45 tahun yang menggunakan OAT kategori 1 dalam pengobatan fase awal dan lanjutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran kepatuhan pasien yang tingkat kepatuhannya sedang sebesar 51,6%, sementara sebanyak 17,6% dan 30,7% pasien menunjukkan tingkat kepatuhan yang tinggi dan rendah. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pasien tuberkulosis yang tidak patuh minum obat tuberculosis dikarenakan sering lupa minum obat, lupa membawa obat ketika sedang bepergian, dan merasa bosan mengkonsumsi obat jangka panjang / Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by infection with the Mycobacterium tuberculosis which generally attacks the lungs. Tuberculosis attacks the majority of adults at productive ages. The purpose of this study was to describe adherence to taking medication in Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients at the Outpatient Pharmacy Installation of X Hospital Tangerang City for the period March – April 2023. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research using a sampling technique, namely Nonprobability Sampling with total sampling. Prospective data collection method and patient compliance questionnaire data processing. The population in this study were patients who were registered with a diagnosis of pulmonary TB at Hospital x Kota Tangerang, totaling 91 people. As a result, there were more female respondents than male respondents, namely 62 respondents. More than half of the respondents in the 26-45 year age group used category 1 OAT in the initial and continuation phases of treatment. The results showed that the description of patient compliance with a moderate level of adherence was 51.6%, while 17.6% and 30.7% of patients showed high and low levels of adherence. Based on these results it can be concluded that there are tuberculosis patients who are not compliant with taking tuberculosis medication because they often forget to take their medication, forget to bring their medication while traveling, and feel bored taking long- term medication.
