Abstract
Pembelajaran bermakna diwujudkan supaya siswa tidak hanya sekedar menghafal informasi tetapi memperoleh pemahaman mendalam dengan mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Guru Kristen perlu membawa siswa memahami apa yang bermakna dalam hidup mereka, memiliki kemauan belajar, menyangkal diri, terus berlatih, dan memikirkan kebenaran-kebenaran Allah. Guru perlu memilih metode yang tepat dalam mengusahakan pembelajaran bermakna. Namun realita di lapangan, guru masih menggunakan metode yang berpusat pada guru sehingga pembelajaran bermakna belum terpenuhi. Solusi yang diterapkan adalah menggunakan metode CTL berbantuan LKS. Metode CTL berbantuan LKS membuat siswa menjadi aktif mempelajari materi-materi secara mandiri dalam mendapatkan pembelajaran bermakna. Tujuan penulisan paper ini adalah untuk memaparkan implementasi metode Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berbantuan LKS dalam mengupayakan pembelajaran bermakna pada materi hidrokarbon kelas XI IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah implementasi metode CTL berbantuan LKS dengan langkah berupa konstruktivisme dimana guru memotivasi dan memberikan LKS, inquiry yaitu menganalisis dengan mencari sumber pendukung, bertanya antara guru, siswa, dan sesama teman, masyarakat belajar yaitu siswa secara berkelompok mengerjakan LKS, pemodelan dari guru sebagai contoh, dan refleksi untuk mengetahui apa yang didapatkan siswa dapat mengupayakan pembelajaran bermakna bagi siswa. Saran yang diberikan adalah peneliti selanjutnya mengembangkan penerapan metode CTL dengan bahan ajar lainnya dalam mengupayakan pembelajaran bermakna. / Meaningful learning is realized so that students do not just memorize information but gain a deep understanding by applying it in everyday life. Christian teachers need to encourage students to understand what is meaningful in their lives, have a willingness to learn, deny themselves, continue to practice, and think about God's truths. Teachers need to choose the right method to achieve meaningful learning. However, the reality in the field is that teachers still use teacher-centered methods, so meaningful learning has not been achieved. The solution implemented is to use the CTL method, assisted by LKS. The CTL method, assisted by LKS, makes students active in studying the material independently in order to obtain meaningful learning. The purpose of writing this paper is to explain the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method assisted by LKS in seeking meaningful learning in class XI science hydrocarbon materials. This study used a descriptive-qualitative method. The results obtained are the implementation of the LKS-assisted CTL method with steps in the form of constructivism, where the teacher motivates and provides LKS; inquiry, namely analyzing by looking for supporting sources; asking questions between teachers, students, and fellow students; learning communities, namely students in groups working on LKS; modeling from the teacher, for example; and reflection to find out what students get and strive for meaningful learning for students. The suggestion given is that researchers further develop the application of the CTL method with other teaching materials to seek meaningful learning
