Abstract

Perspektif Kristen menunjukkan realitas manusia sebagai gambar Allah yang bernatur dosa karena pemberontakannya terhadap kehendak Allah. Hal ini berkaitan dengan bagaimana siswa sebagai gambar Allah tidak menggunakan kehendaknya dengan baik. Salah satu penggunaan kehendak yang tidak baik adalah ketika siswa memutuskan untuk tidak melakukan usaha belajar (terlibat aktif dan memperhatikan pembelajaran) yang mendukung pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Temuan pada kelas XII IPS menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki motivasi belajar yang rendah. Dengan demikian, peran guru Kristen sebagai motivator Kristen sangat dibutuhkan untuk mengatasi masalah motivasi tersebut. Strategi yang digunakan guru adalah dengan tutur motivasi. Tulisan ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi tutur motivasi dapat memengaruhi motivasi siswa agar semangat dalam belajar. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penulisan menunjukkan bahwa tutur motivasi terbukti dapat memengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa kelas XII IPS. Siswa memperoleh pencapaian yang baik sesuai 4 indikator motivasi belajar. Feedback siswa terhadap pembelajaran hari itu menjawab bahwa mereka memperhatikan, merasa senang, tertarik dan terlibat dalam proses belajar di kelas. Penulis menyarankan kepada setiap pembaca khususnya guru-guru Kristen untuk menyadari perannya sebagai motivator Kristen. Akan tetapi, sebelumnya guru harus sudah mengenal kehendak Allah dengan rajin pendalaman Alkitab maupun berdiskusi dalam komunitas yang membangun / The Christian perspective shows the reality of humans as images of God who have a sinful nature because of their rebellion against God's will. This relates to how students as the image of God do not use their will appropriately. One bad use of will is when students decide not to make learning efforts (actively involved and paying attention to learning) that can support their learning achievement. Lack of motivation to learn will make it difficult to achieve learning goals. Findings in class XII IPS show that students have low learning motivation. Thus, the role of Christian teachers as Christian motivators is really needed to overcome these motivation problems. The strategy used by the teacher is motivational speech. This paper aims to describe whether motivational speech strategies can influence students' motivation to be enthusiastic about learning. The author uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The writing results show that motivational speech is proven to influence the learning motivation of class XII IPS students. Students achieve good achievements according to 4 indicators of learning motivation. Students' feedback on that day's learning answered that they paid attention, felt happy, interested and involved in the learning process in class. The author advises every reader, especially Christian teachers, to be aware of their role as Christian motivators. However, beforehand teachers must already know God's will through diligent Bible study and constructive community discussions.
