Abstract

Perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini pada tahap golden age sangatlah penting untuk distimulus. Guru Kristen sebagai pendidik diharapkan dapat mengupayakan pembelajaran bermakna bagi siswa pada masa usia keemasan, salah satunya dengan membuat media pembelajaran yang tepat. Media pembelajaran merupakan segala sesuatu yang digunakan untuk mempermudah penyampaian informasi materi ajar dengan disesuaikan pada perkembangan kognitif anak. Faktanya, penulis sebagai mahasiswa calon guru belum mampu membuat media ajar sesuai dengan perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini. Rumusan masalah dari penulisan paper ini adalah bagaimana mengembangkan media pembelajaran geometri untuk anak usia dini sebagai upaya melatih kompetensi pedagogi guru dalam merancang media pembelajaran? Dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan media pembelajaran geometri untuk anak usia dini sebagai upaya melatih kompetensi pedagogi guru dalam merancang media pembelajaran. Metode penulisan paper ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Kesimpulannya pengembangan media pembelajaran geometri untuk anak usia dini dapat melatih kompetensi pedagogi guru dalam merancang media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran dapat membantu siswa memahami kedaulatan Allah, sehingga siswa mampu mengaplikasikan pembelajarannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Saran dari penulis, yaitu guru perlu memahami tahap perkembangan anak sebelum merancang media pembelajaran, memastikan keterkaitan dengan materi, dan terus melakukan evaluasi secara berkelanjutan agar pembelajaran dapat diperbaiki setiap hari sesuai dengan perkembangan dan kebutuhan siswa / It is very important to stimulate the cognitive development of early childhood at the golden age stage. Christian teachers as educators are expected to be able to strive for meaningful learning for students in their golden age, one of which is by creating appropriate learning media. Learning media is anything that is used to facilitate the delivery of teaching material information adapted to children's cognitive development. In fact, the author, as a student teacher, has not been able to create teaching media in accordance with the cognitive development of early childhood. The problem formulation for writing this paper is how to develop geometry learning media for early childhood as an effort to train teachers' pedagogical competence in designing learning media? With the aim of knowing the development of geometry learning media for early childhood as an effort to train teachers' pedagogical competence in designing learning media. In conclusion, the development of geometry learning media for early childhood can train teachers' pedagogical competence in designing learning media. Learning media can help students understand God's sovereignty, so that students are able to apply their learning in everyday life. The author's advice is that teachers need to understand children's developmental stages before designing learning media, ensure linkages with the material, and continue to carry out ongoing evaluations so that learning can be improved every day according to students' development and needs.
