Abstract

Pada pembelajaran abad 21 terdapat keterampilan yang harus dimiliki siswa, yaitu critical thinking, creative activity, collaboration, dan communication (4C). Hasil penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan di salah satu SMA Kristen di Tangerang menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas XI IPA belum menunjukkan salah satu dari keterampilan abad 21, yaitu kerja sama. Hal ini disebabkan karena siswa memiliki sikap individualisme, dan juga didukung oleh pembelajaran yang konvensional (teacher-centered). Solusi dalam memperbaiki keterampilan kerja sama siswa, yaitu penerapan model pembelajaran group investigation (GI). Memperbaiki keterampilan kerja sama siswa dapat mempengaruhi aspek kognitif, psikomotor, dan afektif. Hal ini sejalan dengan filsafat epistemologi-konstruktivisme yang dipegang, bahwa sumber pengetahuan berasal dari manusia berdasarkan hasil dari pengalaman pribadi. Pendidikan Kristen mengajarkan dan menekankan bahwa pengetahuan berasal dari Tuhan sebagai sumber pengetahuan sejati. Keterampilan kerja sama merupakan salah satu talenta dan anugerah yang diberikan Tuhan agar dapat melayani-Nya dan sesama. Oleh karen itu, tujuan dari penulisan yaitu mengkaji mengenai model pembelajaran GI yang dapat membantu dalam memperbaiki keterampilan kerja sama siswa di dalam pembelajaran kimia. Saran yang dapat diberikan yaitu, guru harus mengetahuai kebutuhan siswa di dalam pembelajaran agar penerapan model pembelajaran GI menolong siswa untuk mengalami perubahan dalam segi keterampilan 4C. / In 21st-century learning, there are skills that students must have, namely critical thinking, creative activity, collaboration, and communication (4C). The results of qualitative research conducted at one of the Christian high schools in Tangerang showed that grade XI science students have not shown one of the 21st-century skills, namely cooperation. This is because students have an attitude of individualism, and are also supported by conventional learning (teacher-centered). The solution to improving students' cooperation skills is the application of the group investigation (GI) learning model. Improving students' cooperation skills can affect cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects. This is in line with the philosophy of epistemology-constructivism that holds, that the source of knowledge comes from humans based on the results of personal experience. Christian education teaches and emphasizes that knowledge comes from God as the source of true knowledge. The skill of cooperation is one of the talents and gifts given by God to serve Him and others. Therefore, the purpose of writing is to study the GI learning model that can help in improving students' cooperation skills in chemistry learning. The advice that can be given is that teachers must know the needs of students in learning so that the application of the GI learning model helps students experience changes in terms of 4C skills.
