Abstract

Fakta yang terjadi pada proses pembelajaran Ekonomi kelas XI IPS, menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan kerja sama siswa masih tergolong minim. Pada pembelajaran secara berkelompok, siswa memiliki keterlibatan yang rendah, sikap dominan dari beberapa siswa, dan kurangnya kepercayaan diri untuk bekerja sama dalam kelompok. Keterampilan kerja sama diperlukan untuk ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran, efisiensi, dan efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Keterampilan kerja sama merupakan bagian esensial dalam diri manusia sebagai gambar dan rupa Allah yang relasional. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan perlu untuk mengakomodasi keterampilan kerja sama siswa, salah satunya melalui metode pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis penerapan metode pembelajaran think pair square share (TPSS) untuk mendorong keterampilan kerja sama siswa kelas XI IPS pada pembelajaran Ekonomi. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode TPSS dapat mendorong keterampilan kerja sama siswa kelas XI pada pembelajaran Ekonomi. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, dapat mengembangkan metode TPSS dengan mempertimbangkan akuntabilitas siswa terhadap pemahaman materi melalui tes secara individual. Selain itu, guru dapat menerapkan tahapan dalam yang ada pada penelitian ini atau melakukan variasi terhadap urutan dalam sintaks inti metode TPSS menyesuaikannya dengan kebutuhan siswa./The facts that occur in the learning process of Economics class XI IPS, show that students' cooperation skills are still relatively minimum. In group learning, students have low participation, dominant behavior from some students, and lack of confidence to work together in groups. Cooperation skills are needed for the achievement of learning objectives, efficiency, and effectiveness of the learning process. Cooperation skills are an essential part of human beings as the image and likeness of a relational God. Therefore, education needs to accommodate students' cooperation skills, one of which is through learning methods. The purpose of this research is to analyze the application of the think pair square share (TPSS) learning method to encourage the cooperation skills of XI social studies class students in learning Economics. The author uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results show that the application of the TPSS method can encourage the cooperation skills of grade XI students in learning Economics. For future researchers, they can develop the TPSS method by considering student accountability for understanding the material through individual tests. In addition, teachers can apply the stages in this study or make variations to the sequence in the main syntax of the TPSS method to adapt it to the needs of students.
