Abstract

Keaktifan belajar siswa merupakan hal yang penting dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Sebagai guru Kristen profesional yang mendasari profesi guru adalah panggilan Tuhan, maka guru Kristen perlu mengupayakan keterlibatan aktif siswa guna proses pembelajaran berjalan dengan baik. Kenyataannya, selama praktik mengajar penulis menemukan masalah ketidakaktifan siswa di dalam kelas yaitu: tidak bisa menjawab pertanyaan guru, tidak fokus, mengkhayal, melakukan aktivitas lain, tidak memperhatikan penjelasan guru, dan tidak berinisiatif, Ada siswa yang tidak patuh, bahkan berbicara pada saat tidak diperlukan, siswa sebagian pasif dan hanya sebagian siswa yang berpartisipasi aktif selama proses pembelajaran. Proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya guru Kristen dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa SMP kelas VIII melalui pembelajaran multi metode. Metode yang penulis gunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dan kajian literatur. Berdasarkan pemaparan proyek akhir ini, disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran multi metode dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Saran yang penulis dapat berikan, pembelajaran multi metode masih bisa dikembangkan lagi dalam hal kajian lainnya, misalnya menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri siswa dengan menggunakan variasi pembelajaran multi metode yang lain./Student learning activity is important in teaching and learning activities. As professional Christian teachers, the basis of the teaching profession is God's calling, so Christian teachers need to strive for active involvement of students so that the learning process runs well. In fact, during teaching practice the author found problems with student inactivity in the classroom, namely: not being able to answer the teacher's questions, not focusing, daydreaming, doing other activities, not paying attention to the teacher's explanations, and not taking the initiative. There were students who were disobedient, even speaking when they were not. necessary, some students are passive and only some students actively participate during the learning process. This final project aims to examine Christian teachers efforts to increase the active learning of class VIII middle school students through multi-method learning. The method the author uses is a descriptive qualitative method and literature review. Based on the presentation of this final project, it is concluded that the application of multi-method learning can increase student learning activity. The advice the author can give is that multi-method learning can still be further developed in terms of growing students' self-confidence by using other learning variations.
