Abstract

Permasalahan yang kerap ditemukan dalam pembelajaran adalah kurangnya kedisipinan siswa, padahal kedisiplinan berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan pembelajaran siswa. Kurangnya kedisiplinan siswa terlihat dari keterlambatan pengumpulan tugas, tidak memperhatikan pelajaran, tidak mengikuti instruksi guru, terlambat masuk kelas, tidak menjaga kerapihan dan kebersihan. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan peraturan dan prosedur kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah 48 siswa SMA tahun pertama pada sebuah sekolah di Jakarta Barat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan langkah-langkah penerapan peraturan dan prosedur kelas untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa kelas X pada pelajaran Sejarah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kedisiplinan siswa meningkat setelah diterapkan peraturan dan prosedur kelas dengan langkah-langkah: 1) Membuat peraturan dan prosedur kelas; 2) menyampaikannya kepada siswa sejak pertemuan pertama pembelajaran; 3) menyepakati dan menerapkannya bersama siswa; 4) mengingatkan siswa untuk menerapkan peraturan dan prosedur kelas; 5) memberi apresiasi kepada siswa yang sudah menerapkan; 6) memberi konsekuensi bagi siswa yang melanggar. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan peraturan dan prosedur kelas melalui langkah-langkah tersebut dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa. Saran bagi pendidik Kristen adalah konsisten dalam menasihati siswa untuk taat terhadap peraturan dan prosedur yang ada sehingga pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan aman dan nyaman dan Tuhan dimuliakan di dalam kelas./The problem that is often found in learning is the lack of student discipline, even though discipline affects the success of student learning. The lack of student discipline can be seen from the delay in submitting assignments, not paying attention to lessons, not following teacher instructions, being late for class, not maintaining neatness and cleanliness. One way to improve student discipline can be done by implementing classroom rules and procedures. The subjects of the study were 48 first-year high school students at a school in West Jakarta. The purpose of this study is to implement steps to implement classroom rules and procedures to improve the discipline of grade X students in History lessons. The research method used in is descriptive qualitative. The results stated that student discipline increased after implementing class rules and procedures with steps: 1) Making class rules and procedures; 2) convey it to students from the first meeting of learning; 3) agree and implement it with students; 4) remind students to apply classroom rules and procedures; 5) give appreciation to students who have applied; 6) give consequences to students who violate. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of classroom rules and procedures through these steps can improve student discipline. The advice for Christian educators is to be consistent in advising students to obey existing rules and procedures so that learning can proceed safely and comfortably and God is glorified in the classroom.
