Abstract

Keterlibatan dalam pembelajaran merupakan hal yang penting karena akan berpengaruh terhadap hasil-hasil belajar baik ranah kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotor. Peran guru sebagai fasilitator yang berkompeten dibutuhkan untuk mempersiapkan pembelajaran yang mampu membawa siswa untuk mendapatkan pengalaman belajar yang menumbuhkan keterlibatan siswa. Guru sebagai fasilitator akan memfasilitasi berbagai macam model pembelajaran karena guru menyadari bahwa setiap siswa memiliki cara belajar yang berbeda-beda. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk memaparkan penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam upaya menumbuhkan keterlibatan siswa, dan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pertumbuhan keterlibatan siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Guru Kristen hadir untuk memberikan pendidikan yang holistik, inovatif, dan mentransformasi kehidupan siswa menjadi beriman akan Kristus yang akan merekonsiliasi kehidupan siswa. Alkitab menjadi landasan epistemologi guru Kristen untuk memahami bagaimana dapat menjadi fasilitator yang efektif untuk siswa. Kesimpulan, hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat menumbuhkan keterlibatan perilaku siswa. Hal ini dilihat melalui hasil penilaian teman sejawat yang dilakukan di dalam kelompok yang menunjukkan kategori baik. Saran yang diberikan kepada penulis selanjutnya adalah lebih teliti dalam menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran dan memperhatikan memanajemen waktu pelaksanaan dengan matang/Engagement in learning is important because it will affect learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. The role of teachers as competent facilitators is needed to prepare learning that can bring students to get learning experiences that foster student involvement. Teachers as facilitators will facilitate a variety of learning models because teachers realize that each student has a different way of learning. The purpose of writing this paper is to explain the application of project-based learning methods to foster student engagement and to determine whether or not there is growth in student engagement using project-based learning methods. The method used is the descriptive qualitative method. Christian teachers are present to provide education that is holistic, innovative, and transforms students lives into faith in Christ who will reconcile students lives. The Bible becomes the foundation of Christian teachers epistemology to understand how to be an effective facilitator for students. In conclusion, the results of research using project-based learning methods can foster student behavioral engagement. This is seen through the results of peer assessment conducted in the group which shows a good category. Suggestions given to the next author are to be more thorough in preparing lesson plans and pay attention to careful management of implementation time.
